Right now we are wrapping up our 2012 with two last Roseborough Exclusive Vacations  I will be escorting our Annual Thanksgiving Cruise on Holland America Line to San Juan, Half Moon Cay, Turks and Caicos, and St. Maarten. This is always a great crowd of people and a great Cruise.   Besides, I get out of doing the dishes for the holiday. I LOVE to cook but HATE to clean it all up… (And I know my husband is happy to be on the cruise and get out of dish detail too!) As many of you know, we kick off the New Year with a huge vacation expo. I hope you will join us January 5th at Victoria Gardens for our 3rd Annual Elite Cruise and Tour Show. We have been working really hard on making this event

So - we have established I like to cook and I like to cruise. Of course, the thing that is missing in that combination, is the WINE. I love pairing great food with great wine. I love traveling while doing so even more. So it was an obvious match for me when we had clients in the agency request a wine cruise--have I got the cruise for you! I am so incredibly excited to introduce to you our Wine Immersion Cruise on the Celebrity Infinity.  This is a port intensive cruise that is perfect for almost anyone. Do not be discouraged by the title “Wine Immersion Cruise” You do not have to be a connoisseur to go. Just a few of the great things about this cruise are the wine pairings, seminars, tastings, and Roseborough Travel has gifted anyone who joins me on this cruise a special wine appreciation seminar. This cruise has an awesome itinerary. We start our journey with transportation from Roseborough Travel Agency (unless you have 10 or more coming from a different pick up location). We will all fly from the Orlando International Airport into London. Our group will take the day to see the sights of London and then onto Harwich where our newly refurbished ship Celebrity Infinity departs. We have 2 days to see in Paris when docked in Le Havre. You can see the Eifel Tower, visit the Louvre, take a trip to Versailles, or visit the beaches of Normandy. Then we are onto Bordeaux, France where we will have an overnight in port to see the beauty of the region. We also have time in Bilbao Spain where you can travel into the heart of the city to explore the Old Quarter, see the famous Seven Streets’ area, interesting Renaissance and Baroque architecture, and St. Nicholas Church.  Immerse yourself in Spain’s culture when traveling onto Vigo. Last time I was in Vigo I visited the beautiful Mount Castro Gardens where you can see the whole city from above. We toured Santiago de Compostela Cathedral but you can take it a step farther and actually follow the Catholic Pilgrimage of so many others through the rolling hills of the Galician countryside from the 9th century. Porto is a region in Portugal known for port wine-- but that’s not all. Built on the bank of the Douro River, Oporto is a city where the old contrasts with the new.  See the fabulous mix of architectural styles, a UNESCO World Heritage site, discover Clérigos tower, Ribeira quarter, or visit the Palácio da Bolsa (Stock Exchange Palace)- just to name a few. Whether you are a wine connoisseur, history buff, European travel enthusiast, or just looking for a relaxing vacation this is a great cruise!

The American Queen was an amazing trip. We had great weather and were able to just sit back and really enjoy the scenery of the Ohio and Mississippi River’s. The entertainment was wonderful (we had a doo whop of a time), but I think my personal favorite part of the trip was the service – I loved the way the staff treated my clients- they truly cared. Plus the food was excellent!!! I could have eaten fried chicken every night.

For those who missed this past trip – give me a call about other Steamboatin’ Adventures. From Gardens of the river, to Jazz or Blues, and seasonal sailings galore- you can cruise the rivers for Mardi Gras, Christmas, and everything in-between.

What’s next? I am starting to get excited about our “Christmas Spectacular” bus trip. It’s going to be wonderful seeing all the lights and just getting into the holiday spirit. As many of you may know I’ve never been to Helen, Lake Lanier, or Stone Mountain so I am really looking forward to experiencing this trip with all of you. Helen, GA is a unique little German village; a great place to enjoy crafts, shopping, and to satisfy your sweet tooth - try the German bakery. Stone Mountain will definitely be entertaining with the lights, shows, and entertainment. And I cannot wait to get to Legacy Lodge in Lake Lanier. We still have a few seats available – please join me in the joy of the season.

This cruise has an awesome itinerary. We start our journey with transportation from Roseborough Travel Agency (unless you have 10 or more coming from a different pick up location). We will all fly from the Orlando International Airport into London. Our group will take the day to see the sights of London and then onto Harwich where our newly refurbished ship Celebrity Infinity departs. We have 2 days to see in Paris when docked in Le Havre. You can see the Eifel Tower, visit the Louvre, take a trip to Versailles, or visit the beaches of Normandy. Then we are onto Bordeaux, France where we will have an overnight in port to see the beauty of the region. We also have time in Bilbao Spain where you can travel into the heart of the city to explore the Old Quarter, see the famous Seven Streets’ area, interesting Renaissance and Baroque architecture, and St. Nicholas Church.  Immerse yourself in Spain’s culture when traveling onto Vigo. Last time I was in Vigo I visited the beautiful Mount Castro Gardens where you can see the whole city from above. We toured Santiago de Compostela Cathedral but you can take it a step farther and actually follow the Catholic Pilgrimage of so many others through the rolling hills of the Galician countryside from the 9th century. Porto is a region in Portugal known for port wine-- but that’s not all. Built on the bank of the Douro River, Oporto is a city where the old contrasts with the new.  See the fabulous mix of architectural styles, a UNESCO World Heritage site, discover Clérigos tower, Ribeira quarter, or visit the Palácio da Bolsa (Stock Exchange Palace)- just to name a few. Whether you are a wine connoisseur, history buff, European travel enthusiast, or just looking for a relaxing vacation this is a great cruise!
