How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts
colour
• I used the colour scheme of black,white,and yellow, which was presented well in my website,digipak,and the main outfit in the video also presented this. I did this to link the 3 products together and make sure there was a clear link.
font
• Another element I used was the font. I used a clear bold white font e very time the artists name was presented. This made sure that the artists name font remained the same so it became recognisable and familiar with the target audience showing a link between the products.
costume
• I will also make sure that the images used on the website and digipak will have the artist wearing the same outfit that is presented during the music video. This shows a clear link with her main outfit, being shown in all 3 products. This main outfit is the artist in all black, and a bright yellow jacket.
lighting
• In our video, we used lots of natural lighing,therefore I will make sure that in the ancillary products, even though the colour black is used, the other colours in the scheme will represent bright lighting, the colours yellow and white. These colours contrast with each other and will ensure that the lighting remains the same throughout all products to create links.
