QuIlt AssemBly4. Assemble quilt using the various cut 3 ½” Squares, J 3 ½” x 9 ½” and J 6 ½” x 9 ½” rectangles around the Quilt Center following the diagram below. You can either follow the design on the cover page, or create a unique design yourself!

QuIlt CeNteR AssemBly1. Using an applique method of your choice, place the owls and floral pieces and sew on top of (1) H 21 ½” x 24 ½” Rectangle.

2. Sew (1) K 2 ½” square to left and (1) to right side of (1) l 2 ½” x 17 ½” strip. Make 2. Repeat step using K 2 ½” squares and l 2 ½” x 21 ½” strips. Make 2. Sew (1) Kl strip to left and (1) to right side of Quilt Center. Then sew (1) B 2 ½” square to left and (1) to right side of remaining (2) Kl strips. Then sew (1) BKl to top and (1) to bottom of Quilt Center.

3. Sew (1) F 1 ½” x 25 ½” strip to top and (1) to bottom of Quilt Center. Then sew (1) l 1 ½” x 30 ½” strip to left and (1) to right of Quilt Center.

FINIsHINg: Cut batting and backing 3” larger than top on all sides. Layer backing, batting and top together and baste or pin. When quilting is completed, trim excess batting and backing. Bind as usual.

sIDe BoRDeRs (Follow main quilt image on cover)6. Sew (1) M and o 2 ½” x 48 ½” strips together. Make 2. Sew these strips to left and to right side of quilt center. Then sew (1) K and n 2 ½” x 45 ½” strips together. Make 2. Sew (1) Corner Block to each side of Kn strip. (Note rotation of blocks) Finally sew these strips to top and bottom of quilt center. Finished Quilt size is 53” x 56”.
