NOT GETTING ENOUGH SLEEP Read before bed don't take naps exercise meditate don't have caffeine de-stress good mattress comfortable sheets good pillows calming atmosphere nature sounds sex walk the dogs before bed feed animals before bed always go to bed at the same time drink Chamomile tea sleep in darkness have your bedroom set at a cooler temp don’t have your alarm clock close to your bed (make it harder to read) don’t work in bed if your animal moves too much, don’t sleep with them wear ear plugs (snoring partner) fall asleep before your partner (you won’t hear them snore) don’t drink or eat foods that give you heart burn (laying down can make your heart burn go up into your throat go to the bathroom right before bed don’t drink a lot before you go to sleep don’t eat before bed journal before bed (to empty your mind of thoughts) wear socks to bed take a hot bath wear night clothes that are comfortable surround yourself in bright lights when awake if you take naps don’t take them after 3pm quit smoking eat well sleep when your baby sleeps
