Energize Your Life Program Energize…MyPlate Program

Example: Cost/benefit documentation on Energize…MyPlateProgram

Annual cost of treating one excess risk per person

(conservative)

$1,000

Total costs or expenses of delivering MyPlate program $1,850

Number program participants X Annual Cost per person 129 participants x $1,000 =

$129,000

As a result of the program, number of participants

without condition

15 participants, or 11%

If 11% of 129 participants no longer have one risk factor,

then potential costs avoided of 11% of annual cost of

$193,500

$14,190

Formula Money Saved/Avoided ÷ Total Costs = ROI $14,190 ÷ $1,850 =7.60:1 ROI
