Cleanliness at stations:Reduction in Number of cleanliness complaints (COMS) during Apr‐January 2018‐19 in comparison to last year
o Complaints for dirty platforms reduced by 50.74 %, waiting room reduced by 32.05%., dirty Track reduced by11.76%.
o Total No of cleanliness complaints decreased by 29 23%o Total No. of cleanliness complaints decreased by 29.23%.
o Intensive Anti‐littering drives are launched. From Apr ‐18 to Feb‐19 a fine of Rs.1.38 Cr has been imposed, which is54.71% higher than the corresponding period of previous year. A total number of 1.12 lakh person have been finedduring the period Apr‐18 to Feb‐19, which is 54% higher than corresponding period of previous year.
Steps taken to improve cleanliness:Steps taken to improve cleanliness:o Out of 1023 stations, 88 stations (NSG1‐3, NSG2‐11, NSG3‐24, NSG4‐20, NSG5‐16, NSG6‐7 & HG3‐7) are having
mechanized/ comprehensive cleaning contracts as on Feb‐19. Further, 62 stations have been identified for awardingmechanized cleaning contracts (NSG2‐2, NSG3‐13, NSG4‐16, NSG5‐31). Rest of the stations have rough surface andnot amenable to mechanized cleaning.not amenable to mechanized cleaning.
Catering Quality and service:o Green initiative has been taken by banning “Use of Plastic Carry Bags” at catering units on station of NR.

o The scheme has been successfully implemented over NR . Proper training hasbeen imparted to ticket checking staff. Nodal officers have been nominated in
