Why Choose the Global Leader?

The CENTURY 21™ system was founded in 1971 in Southern California. The founding principle was simple: to enable small independent brokers to operate under a common identity, sharing in the resources of collec-tive advertising, training and marketing. This concept enabled brokers to remain responsive to the needs of their local marketplace, while favorably positioning themselves against the competition. And it worked!

The CENTURY 21™ network grew rapidly in the 70’s and 80’s, quickly becoming the largest real estate sales organization in the world. Sales topped the $70 billion mark. Independent polls now show the CENTURY 21™ name to be the best recognized name in real estate.

Century 21 Real Estate LLC (CENTURY21.com) is the franchisor of the world’s largest residential real estate sales organization, comprised of approximately 6,800 independently owned and operated franchised bro-ker offices in 78 countries and territories worldwide with more than 100,000 independent sales professionals.

CENTURY 21 Real Estate was ranked highest in overall customer satisfaction by the J.D. Power 2014 Home Buyer/Seller Satisfaction StudySM. Specifically, CENTURY 21® Real Estate swept the awards by receiving the highest ranking among national real estate companies across all four customer satisfaction segments in the study, in-cluding: First-Time Home-Buyer Satisfaction, Repeat Home-Buyer Satisfaction, First-Time Home-Seller Satisfaction and Repeat Home-Seller Satisfaction.

The city of Sonoma is the birthplace of the California wine industry. Sonoma Valley’s quaint towns glow with as much character as the local wines.

Sonoma is a historically significant city in California; its historic town plaza is a remnant of the town’s Mexican colonial past. Today, Sonoma is the home of the Sono-ma International Film Festival.

Petaluma is easy to find, straight up Highway 101, 32 miles north of San Francisco. It is the portal to Sonoma County, making Petaluma an ideal base for excursions to the Wine Country, the dramatic Sonoma Coast, and the majestic redwood groves.

Marin County is a bright, little spot of nature that people have used as a get-a-way from the city since back in the 1800s. What was once logging territory grew into summer bungalows for vacationing and has now become one of the most sought-after areas to live in California.

With the Ocean on one side and the San Francisco Bay on the other, Marin Coun-ty is surrounded by water. That means if there’s something fun to do on the water, you can do it here. Kayak in the Bay, surf the waves or take a boat out for a cruise. Marin is place where you’re minutes from doing either or you can sit back, relax, and watch all the play that happens on the water.

With approximately 70% of the land in Marin County devoted to forests, parks, and beaches, it’s no wonder that that the area lends itself to so many outdoor activi-ties. Angel Island, China Camp, Mount Tamalpais, and Muir Woods are just a few of places where you can go to find yourself on a hike. Marin County is also the birth place of mountain biking so whether you’re looking for trails to walk or ride, we’ve got them.

Tiburon and Belvedere are located on a peninsula in southern Marin. These areas are home to some of the most expensive properties in the North Bay. Ferry rides to neighboring Angel Island and incredible views of the San Francisco skyline highlight these wonderful hamlets.

Sausalito is as rich with art and music history as it is with gorgeous views of the San Francisco Bay. Where the likes of Otis Redding and Sally Stanford once hung their hats, Sausalito’s wonderful eclectic style is characterized by floating houses that dot its harbors and unique homes that decorate its hills.

Mill Valley is the heart of southern Marin. It not only has the highest number of properties that sell every month, it contains a number of different areas to meet the desires of its residents. From the quaint downtown to hills nestled with homes among the trees, homeowners can find something that they love in Mill Valley.

As you travel north along the 101 fwy, you’ll find Corte Madera and Larkspur. Both combine the charm of small towns with the conve-nience of being near a major metropolitan area. With the Town Cen-ter and The Village, Corte Madera offers the best shopping in the North Bay. In Larkspur, you’ll find the largest ferry terminal in the North Bay delivering folks to and from the city every day.

From there you’ll transition from condo living in Greenbrae to lovely neighborhoods in Kentfield finally arriving in the lush lifestyle of Ross. All of these areas are connected but certainly distinct and will afford you choices and options to meet your tastes.

San Rafael, the biggest city in the area as well as the county seat, is also in Central Marin. Next to San Rafael is San Anselmo, a wonderful bedroom community, and Fairfax. For those not familiar, Fairfax moves at a different pace and carves out a place in the hearts of those who love the freedom and ease the is part of the essence of Marin.

Novato is the largest geographic city in Marin. It spans from the Hamilton Wetlands in the South to the hills in the West and almost to the northern county border. From horse property to golf course living, Novato’s pockets of neighborhoods speak to its diversity. You’ll find festivals and parades in its downtown as well as convenient shopping throughout. Generations have invested in Novato to create its family atmosphere.

As you move west and reach the coast, you’ll find smaller towns such as Nicasio, Pt. Reyes Station and Stinson Beach. Each with its own character, you’ll find ranch and farm properties as well as beach houses. Tomales Bay is famous for its oyster farming but you also have the opportunity to enjoy kayaking, hiking, fishing or just relaxing in the California sun.

Just couple of hours drive from the San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento Area, and the Pacific Coast is Lake County, home to Clear Lake, the larg-est natural freshwater lake in California, and one of the oldest lakes on the continent. The lake hosts several fishing competitions every year. But even if you’re just looking for recreational sailing, boating, jet-skiing, or relaxing on the lake, the warm, calm waters of Lake County are perfect for it all.

Lake County is also One of California’s hottest new wine destinations. If it’s tasting you into or maybe even a piece of land to grow your own, Lake County has a lot to offer. With micro-climates like that of neighboring wine country areas combined with the variety of soils, grow any number of popular varietals or try your hand at your own blend.
