From Amritsar, one is taken deep in to the Punjab village life, very close to the foothills of the Shivalik Hills, where traditional crops and orchards thrive! You get to taste authentic home cooked meals on slow fire and many local sweets. Fresh juices from the orchard where you will be staying and traditional breakfast will open up your taste buds and relish new flavours. Short walks and evening bonfire with open skies and no additional noise, only the orchard and jungle sounds!

PUNJAB: Traditionally, Punjab has been well known for its food and culture all over the world but why not make a guided tour to experience it first-hand! A trip which is planned in such a way that there is no down time at all. Something that is planned from Day 1 and till you board your flight back, you will have to take a step back to recall how many different things you have done or seen! Golden Temple is one of the iconic religious and tourist spots in India. A trip to the Wagah Border between India and Pakistan tops the list and the street food of Amritsar is also legendary!

McLeod Ganj is known for its Tibetan and local cuisines. The narrow streets in the main Bazar have iconic and legendary restaurants and also very hip spots too! We will plan a short trek for lunch one day and show you different vistas to admire. Don’t worry, the trek will be easy to moderate and a short one just to let you take a deep breath of mountain air. A visit to the main Buddhist temple is a must and it will be part of the package! Dharamshala has many smaller villages/satellite towns also famous as tourist destination and one such place will be part of the itinerary!

HIMACHAL: From your second stop over, Dharamshala/McLeod Ganj is less than 3 hours away! That completes the Northern Triangle visit! Within 30 minutes of travel from the farm stay, you will be in the hills leading to the Dhauldhar mountain range! The 60 degree angle view of these acutely rising snow covered mountains will stun you and get you in a mountain travel mode.

Day 1 -

Day 2 -

Guests will be picked up from Amritsar

International Airport and taken to the hotel for

check in. We would ideally like the guests to arrive

by 11-12 PM. After a lunch at the hotel and some

rest, you will be taken for a tour of the city. There

are a few landmarks worth visiting and we will get

you some local sweets to relish. After that, the

guests will be taken to Wagah border for a closing

ceremony of daily change of guard between India

and Pakistan. It is very moving experience. There

will some refreshments carried along so you are

hydrated and also have something to munch.

After the ceremony, you will be taken back to

Amritsar and a sumptuous local delicacies meal

will be the next stop. Then back to the hotel and

take it easy for the rest of the evening.

After breakfast around 8 AM, a visit to the wonderful Golden Temple. There will be time to take pictures and those who all want to carry holy water or sweet as blessing can do so too. After the visit to the Golden temple, which will be at least a 2 hour trip, you will be visiting Jallianwala Bagh. It has history as one of the most disastrous and brutal killing of Indians pre-independence. It is worth a page in history to know about.

An early lunch and check out from the hotel followed by a drive to farm stay in Hoshiarpur. It will be a 2 hour drive. Once in farm stay, you will check in and relax for the evening. Drinks and snacks will be served and a bonfire to welcome you. The hosts will explain to you about their concept and what to expect the next day. After a homely farm stay meal, you will go back to your rooms and call it a night.

Day begins with an early morning walk in to the

forest trail behind the farm stay. Tea/coffee and

biscuits will be served in the common dining hall.

Fresh home grown Tangerines and Kinnoos

(Local oranges) juice to cool you down after the

walk. A sumptuous spread will be laid out with

local cuisine and continental food. There are

bicycles available for strolling around the

property. A local event will be organized to

interact with local traditions and customs. A drive

in to the village and experience the Punjabi way of

living! Whole day, you will be entertained by

activities and if you wish to take it easy, sit outside

your individual cottage and enjoy the green

carpet and foliage. Evening barbecue and bonfire

and you will be done for the day!

Day 3 -

Day 4 - After breakfast around 9 AM, you guys will get

Once you reach and check in to your hotel close to McLeod Ganj, we will take you to a nice place for lunch. After lunch, you can stroll around McLeod Ganj. Relax this day around this area and in the evening, come back to the hotel and dinner will be served. Call it a night for activities planned for the next day.

Day 5 -

It will be a 3 hour ride with a couple of stopover to enjoy the views!

After breakfast, the guests will be going for an

easy to moderate trek where they will go in to a

mountain trail for about a kilometre. One will be

able to see Dharamshala from different vista

points. After freshening up at a mid-way stop and

taken to a nice coffee and lunch lounge, the guests

will be taken to the Main Dalai Lama’s Temple.

About an hour there and you will be going for a

drive to see the various close by spots as check list

for the visit. Go out to eat in the city for diner and

turn in for the night.

Day 6 - After breakfast, check in from the hotel and drive to Amritsar International Airport for your flight back. That would be the end of this adventurous trip.
