Suffolk County ranks number one in opiate related deaths in New York State. How many more of our children need to die before we take a stand and fight back? How many more families need to be destroyed? Understanding the crisis is half the battle. The other half is addressing ways to actionably reduce the number of victims claimed by this epidemic and promote drug awareness in our schools. We would like to honor those who we have lost, those in recovery and those still struggling in our community. We invite you to bring a photo or poster in their honor. A special candlelight vigil will follow the end of our program to commemorate those who have been affected. IT'S TIME TO FIGHT BACK www.northshorecommunityassociation.org
