The Eastern States Exposition, also known as The Big E, is

the largest agricultural event on the East Coast.

Please join us on Wednesday, September 19, as we travel

to Springfield, MA to celebrate Connecticut Day!

Enjoy a day at the fair! Explore the New England State

buildings, shop the vendors, experience the

agricultural events, enjoy the entertainment and

dine on some fun fair food!

$25 per person includes transportation and admission.

Please sign up to ensure your spot for a day of fun.

Thank you to all who participated! We had another

wonderful season of Summertime Supper Club.

We began our season in May at Café Fiore, then tried out

the prime rib special at G. W. Carson’s in June, headed to

Dockside for some incredible seafood in July and then

wrapped up supper club in August with a very

special evening at Rossitto’s.

we have been working on: “Get a bin to collect old eye glasses to be donated to charity”

We have reached out and requested one.

“May we go to Friendly’s in North Haven for lunch?”

Yes! September is full, so let’s go in October.

“Contact teachers of schools & CCD classes and donate stickers

and Christmas cards. (To send to the troops).”

We think this is a great idea! If you know of any teachers that could

use these items, please let us know!

Essex Steam Train and Cruise When: Friday, October 12th Cost: $60 Res/$65 NR Description: Board your Dining Car to savor a hot lunch at historic Essex Station that is prepared and cooked on board. Next you will travel aboard the train along the Lower Connecticut River Valley. At Deep River Landing you will transfer to the Becky Thatcher Riverboat for a cruise on the Connecticut River – bursting with lush scenery and historic sights; such as Gillette Castle. You will finish your journey riding in Coach Passenger Cars aboard the train back to Essex Station. Meal is included in the price.
