For 6-12-yr-olds, the 5-day Tackers Program is Yachting Australia’s introductory sailing program, with 3 levels of instruction. Level 1, Mon-Fri 9am-1pm; Level 2 and 3, 12.30-4.30pm - morning or afternoon tea and lunch provided. For older kids, the Youthsail School Holiday Sailing Program runs Mon-Fri, 10am-4pm and follows an introduction to the Yachting Australia Start Sailing program. Lunch and afternoon snack, life jacket, boat and supervision by qualified Yachting Australia Instructors and rescue/coach boat support are included. $65 per day.

Gobber and Gronckle are coming to Noosa Civic Shopping to teach kids how to train a dragon in the Viking Training School. Young Vikings can meet the characters and take home a Viking helmet with participating food retailer purchase. How to Train Your Dragon, Viking Training School has shows from 5-9 Jan at 11am and 1pm, and a meet-and-greet with Gobber and Gronkle at midday each day.From 12-16 Jan, kids can make their own dragon shields and decorate them in the How to Train Your Dragon craft village, in the Food Court, 11am-2pm.
Dinosaur eco bag making is from 19-23 Jan where children can make their own reusable dinosaur themed bag to take home. The craft village is free and will run from 11am-2pm daily.
A free playground for children, The Play Retreat, is in the Food Court.

This traditional pantomime blends the story of Aladdin with the tale of The Little Mermaid, as Abanazer discovers the whereabouts of a magic lamp containing a genie. Thanks to global warming, the cave containing the lamp lies deep under the sea. Aladdin and the Mermaid Princes Ariel become involved and only King Neptune’s trident can break through the magic spell. All tickets $15 - book online. Performances are at 11am and 2pm Saturdays, and 1pm and 4pm Sundays.
