What is Care-n-Share?How it works
A user creates a community for themselves or another family member (a father with Dementia or a child with cancer).
The community creator invites family, friends, church members, etc. to join the community.
Within the care-n-share community the creator can• Post updates about the family member “Just Me”;• Ask for help;• Upload photos;• Provide family fundraising information;• Help their favorite nonprofit/charity• Thank caregivers by giving them recognition;• Post personal health info in a secure section of the site called mycare (double password protected).
Community supporters that were invited can:• Post a journal entry called “Well Wishes”;• Send prayers, hearts of love or rainbows of hope;• Respond to help requests;• Create volunteer offerings
It is a resource and connection platform forfamily caring and community sharing.
Participating Nonprofit TypesThe Care-n-Share Platform is also available to “for profit” companies that provide direct patient care such as home healthcare, hospice and senior care. These for profit companies pay a fee. In order to make the service offering fair to all, the nonprofit type is divided into two categories: Nonprofits that deliver direct patient care and those that do not. The Care-n-Share Platform is available Free to those nonprofits who do not deliver direct patient services but rather raise awareness for their cause or coordinate care through outside resources. Examples of these types of nonprofits include church or ministry groups; nonprofits that educate, raise research money or provide support groups and materials.
For nonprofits involved in direct patient support there would be a service fee just as other “for profit” companies. However, you would also get the benefit of donate now links without any administrative fees. Examples of these types of nonprofits include primary care facilities, assisted living and skilled care facilities, home care or hospice services, etc.

When a community creator registers through your subdomain you become the sponsor for the community. Consequently, we brand every page and every email notification that goes out to members with your logo and/or your nonprofit’s name. (See ABC Nonprofit below)

The individual that created the community can also select a nonprofit from an approved list of nonprofits to appear under their “Favorite Charities” (Nonprofits that sponsor the site are automatically included). The individual can also invite a nonprofit to join which is then reviewed by BestHomeHealthCare.com.
