01 | Study Abroad at PNU, Pusan National University NON-DEGREE PROGRAMS The Exchange Student Program is designed for students from partner universities who want to undertake coursework for from one to two semesters at PNU. To be eligible for the exchange program, students need to be nominated by the international office at their home universities. The Visiting Student Program is designed for students from universities that do not have a formal exchange agreement with PNU or that have the agreement but with a limited number of exchange openings. Visiting students can undertake coursework for one or two semesters at PNU but need to check with their home universities regarding credit transfer. Visiting students should pay all educational expenses. The Department of Global Studies (DGS) is undergraduate program which is also open to exchange and visiting students thatprovides students with a challenging, interdisciplinary curriculum taught entirely in English and almost exclusively by native speakers.Included in the curriculum are courses in Korean and other East Asian studies, law, international relations, history, economics,political science, human rights, culture, business, art, regional studies, and religion. The department emphasizes classroomparticipation and activities, allowing international and Korean students to work together and develop lasting relationships.

PNU Summer School provides foreign students with an enriching cultural and educational experiencefor from three to five weeks. The Summer School consists of academic courses covering a wide rangeof subjects, Korean language course and various activities, field trips. A program fee including enrollmentfee, tuition fee, accommodation and activities is about US$1,800 to US$2,250. It is divided into two non-overlapping sessions:Session A(from late June to late July) and Session B(from late July to mid August).
