Diabetes: - Estimated prevalence 2-8%- 50% of amputations at the Haiti State University Hospital- 50% of the cases are not diagnosed
Cardiovascular diseases:- 40% of admissions at the Haiti State University Hospital- 70% associated with HTA
Injuries- 2,300 victims of injuries in 1997- 380 deaths due to violence in 1997
No surveillance of NCDs in Haiti
