NoiseGuideprovidesyouwith2typesofmeasurements,simultaneously.The ear symbol indicates the state of the current noise levelwhiletheLEDpanelatthebottomofthedevice indicatestheaveragenoiseleveloverthepast15minutes.
Microphone
TheEarsymbolindicatesthecurrentnoiselevel.
The LED panel indicates the average noise level overthepast15minutes.

SET TIME
Noise Guide has a built-in time and date function that will set automatically the first time you connect the device to your PC.

There are 2 ways of saving your configurations:1. ConnectthedevicedirectlytoyourPCwhileperformingtheconfiguration.2. UploadingyourconfigurationtotheUSB-key.
1. DIRECT CONFIGURATION: ConnectthedevicedirectlytoyourPC.Click”Configure”everytimeyouhavechangedsettings.Thisway,yourset-tingswillbesaveddirectlyonthedevice.
2. EXPORT SETUP TO USB:ExportingtheconfigurationtotheUSB-keyisusefulifyouneedtoapplythesamesettingstomultipledevices.

CHECK FOR FIRMWARE UPDATEUnder”DeviceInformation”youcanalsocheckforfirmwareupdatesfortheNoiseGuidedevice.
1. ConnectNoiseGuidetoyourPC.MakesurethatyourPC is connected to the internet. 2. Clickon”Checkforfirmwareupdates”.
3. Ifthereisanewversionavailable,thisboxwillappear.Click on ”OK” to update to the latest version of the firmware.
4. Thefirmwareisbeingupdated.
5. RestarttheNoiseGuidewhentheupdateiscomplete.

Bydefault,thelightpanelatthebottomofthedevicewillindicatethe average noise level over the past 15minutes.
In”LightSettings”youcansetthelight panel to show the average noise levelforthethepast15,30or60minutes.
In ”Light Settings” you have the op-tion of switching off the light alarm for a certain duration of time.
• Checkthebox”Lightoff”.• Selectatimeperiodforthelightstobeswitchedoff.
Please note! Theinternalmemorywill continue to log data disregarded that the lights are swithced off.

IMPORT DATA FROM USB
1. ConnectaUSB-keytoyourNoiseGuide.WhilethedataisexportingfromtheinternallogtotheUSB-key,theEar-symbolwilllightyellow.Itmaytakeuptoafewminutes,dependingontheamountofdata.
2. RemovetheUSB-keyfromthedevicewhentheyellowlighthasstoppedflashing.InserttheUSB-keyinyourPC.
3. Openthesoftwareandclick”ImportfromUSB”.Thesoftwarewillopenthefolderautomatically.
4. Selectthefileyouwanttoimport.
5. Thesoftwarenowconvertstheear-filetoaCSV-formatandsavesthefileinthelibrary.
FACTORY SETTINGS
Ifyouwish,youcanalwaysrestoretheNoiseGuide'sFactorySettings.WerecommendthatyouinstalltheFactorySettingswheneverthefirmwareisbeingupdated.YoucanalsorestoretheFactorySettingsifyouwanttoresettheinternalmemoryinyourNoiseGuide.

Maintenance and service must be performed only by a trained service technician. After completing maintenance / service, a functionality check and a visual inspection of the device must be performed before it may be used again.
