Context: The workshop aims at enabling participants to gain by ensuring good mental & emotional health, fighting stress in order to optimize performance and living a healthy life. Stress has been declared a silent killer. It is considered worse than the heart diseases and more dangerous than cancer, endangering human life. According to WHO report (2014), stress is likely to acquire an epidemic form by 2025. It is causing unprecedented damage to social, personal and economic well being of individuals, business and institutions in visible and invisible ways. Stress is also adversely affecting industries and organizations. Dealing with stress and living a life with a sense of well being is turning out to be a piped dream. Unless stress is understood and dealt within a scientific and objective way, at a personal and individual level, it will continue to interfere in a balanced life. The optimal performance of employees can only be ensured if they are having a balanced life. Mrs. Ashima Shukla (Honorary Advisor): She is a lifestyle and wellness coach with over 15 years of practice and expertise in positive psychology and counseling. She is the first Mind Body Medicine and BAH (Bio-resonance Analysis of Health) practitioner in India. Trained at the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine, Harvard Medical School, she uses integrative approaches for stress management and resiliency training, guiding individuals to optimal resilience for enhancement of peak performance and relationship management.
