Subject: Certificate of Bonafide Himachaliverification thereof.

Sir,I am directed to invite your attention to the

subject cited above and to say that it has come to the notice of

the government that a large number of persons have tried to

get enrolled into the army and availed benefits being allowed by

the government on the basis of fake domicile certificates. Such

persons availed the quota of the State which has otherwise

rightfully been enjoyed by the Bonafide residents of the State.

Besides, there could be a possibility that some undesirable

elements from other places that do not have eligibility to have

Bonafide Himachali certificate could indulge in obtaining fake

domicile certificates which can prove to be a serious issue in

future with regard to several things including national security.

After examining the issue at thread bare, it has been considered

appropriate by the State Government that necessary preventive

meaSL:jres with due care and seriousness are taken for

verifications before issuing Himachali Bonafide certificate.

Accordingly, it has been decided that registering of numbering

of the Bonafide Himachali certificate alongwith uploading the

complete necessary details on Departmental website(s)

{District/Tehsil wise etc.} may be done in checking the menace

& also to prevent issuance of fake certificates. This will also

facilitate the early verification and providing various facilities

available to the Bonafide residents of the State.

You are, therefore, requested to ensure the

abovesaid action in letter and spirit and these instructions may

also be brought to '>the notice of all concerned for compliance.

Any deviation of these instructions would be construed seriously

by the Government.
