Pure and undefiled, He walked among the thoughtless, the rude, the uncourteous; among unjust publicans, unrighteous Samaritans, heathen sol- diers, rough peasants, and the mixed multude. He spoke a word of sympathy here and a word there. As He saw men weary, and compelled to bear heavy burdens, He shared their burdens, and repeated to them the lessons He had learned from nature, of the love, the kindness, the goodness of God. Being One with Christ Dear Bookman Friend: The New Year has arrived! January has always held special challenges for certain Literature Evangelists. Slick roads are always something to be negotiated...should I stay home today…or should I try and navigate through the snow? We do well to remember there are at least two sides to every debate. When the weather isn’t so nice and you want to stay home, so do all of your potential customers. If you’ll persevere when it’s late, dark, cold or wet you will find more people at home and often they are more welcoming due to the fact that you cared enough to seek them out. It is my prayer that you have taken the time to analyze last year’s reports and accomplishments. Those reports that you’ve saved someplace; either in your files or your emails that you’ve sent. Remember that in our daily course as we interface with others, whether while prospecting, canvassing, advertising or just passing someone on the street, Jesus is being revealed by all that we say or do. “What Christ was on this earth, the Christian worker should strive to be.
