WELCOME TO THE 2016 NATIONAL LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE Brothers of Omega Delta Phi,

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the 2016 National Leadership Institute here in Reno, Nevada. We have an amazing weekend planned. The NLI means a lot to me, as I can see the growth and education of our undergrads. You, the actives, are the future of Omega Delta Phi Fraternity, Inc. and it is my job to prepare you for the future and to leave your foundation on our amazing Brotherhood. On top of the normal leadership workshops that we normally have, we will be introducing a career panel filled with alumni of our Brotherhood as well as a multicultural session. This organization was founded upon the beliefs of multiculturalism and it seems that in our society the true meaning of it has been forgotten. We will also be hosting strolling workshops for the Brothers that want to show how HYPE we can get. Another big change you will experience at this conference is an organization wide service event, to allow brothers from across the nation to achieve one of our goals of servicing the community.

When you leave this weekend, I want you to leave with memories, relationships, and most of all HYPE. After this weekend, I want you to leave with the information that can help not only make you a better Brother but, also, have the best organization at your school. Enjoy this time, make connections, create memories, and GET HYPE!

Thank you for joining us,

ROBERT MALONEY NATIONAL DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMMING

2016 NLI VISION STATEMENT Brothers of Omega Delta Phi,

First off, allow me to welcome each of you to Reno, Nevada for NLI 2016! Since last year in San Antonio, we’ve seen great change in the mindset of the organization and really begun looking at who we are currently, and where we want to be as a Brotherhood in future years.

As we convene as a Brotherhood this weekend, let us remember the reason for us being here: to learn from one another and to bring home our learnings and implement at our respective entities. I cannot stress enough the importance of our theme, “Bringing it Home,” because it applies to so many difference facets of our weekend. What we learn in our workshops, the memories we make at Knight Life, the friendships formed in networking - its important that each and every one of us remember to “Bring it Home” with you.

“Bringing it Home” also has a secondary meaning, and that is as an organization we need to reflect on things we have done great and remember how we got to be great at those things. Sometimes it is important to hit the reset button and give another go at operational challenges. Beyond all else, it is critical to remember that as a Brother of Omega Delta Phi, success is our only option.

Knights, be prepared to have a fantastic weekend of Brotherhood, Learning, and Growth. Once it is over, please remember to take what you have learned and “Bring it Home.”

Thank you for joining us,

TONY PAGLIOCCO NATIONAL PRESIDENT, OMEGA DELTA PHI FRATERNITY
