We are pleased to deliver the latest release of NLGroup Illustrations - ForeSight™ Web, version 17.4.5. Please take a few moments to review these release notes which contain an outline of the new enhancements. As always, we appreciate your continued feedback. It does make a difference.

If you don’t already have the National Life Group Illustrations system which allows Foresight™ Web to work hand in hand with IC Solutions, please go to “NLGroup Illustrations – Homepage & Installation”. To get to this page, select “Marketing” and then “Installation” (shown under the “Illustrations” heading).

FlexLife II Inforce Illustrations You now have the ability to run Inforce illustrations for FlexLife II and NL FlexLife II. Inforce illustrations are only available on the web and can not be run on the desktop version of the software. To begin running inforce illustrations, login to www.nationallife.com, select ‘Inforce’, and then select ‘Life Policy Values & InForce Illustrations’.

Once on the ‘Life Policy Values & InForce Illustrations’ page, search for an inforce policy via either the Policy Number Search or Name Search.

Select ‘Illustrations’ in the upper, right corner of the screen which will launch a second tab that brings you right into the inforce illustration in ForeSight.

Once in ForeSight, you will see that there are four screens (that have the same look and feel as the new issue illustrations that you are used to running):

1.) Client Information Screen - On the Client Information screen the Issue State, Insured Information and Risk Information will all be populated and disabled as they can not be changed.

2.) Death Benefit and Funding Screen – On the Death Benefit and Funding screen the Life Insurance Compliance Test, Face Amount, Death Benefit Option, Premium Mode and Premium Amount will be populated, however most of these will be enabled as they can be changed. On this screen you will be able to select to change the Face Amount, change the Premium Amount, take income, etc.

3.) Riders Screen – On the Riders screen any Riders that have been added to the policy will be shown. Accelerated Benefit Riders (ABRs) and Benefit Distribution Option (BDO) are disabled as they can not be removed, however other riders that have been added to the policy will be set to Yes but you have the option to remove them. No-cost Riders (aside from ABRs) will not be shown on this screen, but they will have been added to the illustration appropriately.

4.) Interest Rates Screen – On the Interest Rates screen the Interest Rate Allocations and Assumed Rates will be populated, however they will be enabled and can be changed.

In addition to the four screens where the illustration will be built, there are two tabs (“Quick View” and “Reports”) where you can view the results. On the Quick View screen, you will have 4 “View Options” (Current Illustrated, Current Alternative, Guaranteed Rate and Multi-Model) where you can take a look at the values. Or you can click “Run Reports” to view the full illustration (screen shots of some pages of the full illustration shown below). Please remember that the Quick View screens and results are not approved to show to consumers. You may only show full illustrations to consumers.

We are very excited to be able to offer the Inforce FlexLife II illustrations on our ForeSight platform. A couple added features to Inforce illustrations that are in ForeSight:

1.) ABRs can now be illustrated! 2.) MEC Avoidance can now be illustrated!
