Dorothy Westerman Herrmann Natural Science Center is among the most technologically advanced undergraduate science centers in the Midwest.among the most technologically advanced undergraduate science centers in the Midwest.

ALEXA Abner STEM major“I dug up dinosaur bones in Utah and worked on developing new energy sources in my first year at NKU,” says Alexa Abner, a sophomore STEM major. STEM undergraduates conduct research with faculty year-round. The National Science Foundation and National Institutes of Health have funded additional undergraduate research programs for STEM students. Alexa says, “I have been given so many amazing opportunities; I couldn’t have asked for a better experience in my first year.”
