1. One is never alone with books!
“Reading is to mind what exercise is to body and prayer is to soul.” Roll number – 1to18
We learn various aspects of life by reading and it makes us a better person. Read any story book and pick out twenty proper and common nouns from the stories you have read on an A-4 size sheet. You can draw/paste pictures related to the story as well.

Please continue to encourage your child to read. Here is a list of sites you can use to encourage reading.

Write 6-8 sentences on what you saw there and draw a related picture on an A-4 size sheet. You can also click photographs of your visit with your family and stick them alongside to make it more interesting.
3. Do one page of cursive writing daily in a separate small notebook.
· MATHS:
Project 1:-Make a mini Mathematics dictionary using waste paper or old greeting cards.
Pick up 10 words used in Mathematics and write them down along with their meaning.
(You may refer to your mathematics book). Roll No:- (1-10)
E.g.:-
Ascending Order Arranged from smallest to largest. Increasing. Example: 3, 9, 12, 55 are in ascending order
Project 2:-Write the 10 car numbers, select the last four digits and arrange them in table of two columns (even and odd number). Roll No :-( 11-20)
Project 3:-Write the two mobilenumbers, select the last four digit and arrange them in 4-digit place value system. Roll No: - (20 onwards)
· EVS:
a) *Make a model of any one internal organ with its labeling (Roll no. 1-10)
*Make a model using pictures showing reasons for change in family setup .

*Make a model of different types of houses. (Roll no. 21 -30 )
*Make a model of balanced diet and its uses (Roll no. 31-35)
b) Make flash cards of seasonal festivals :
* winter season (Roll no.1-10 )

c) Environmental studies belong to study of environment . Show the ways in which we can save environment ( save water , stop pollution and save earth ) . Make a book jacket for the same .

a) Write the name India’s first Prime Minister and President . Paste the picture with their contribution towards our country.(roll no.1-10)
b) Paste pictures of India’s women power (India’s first women Prime Minister ,first women President , first women IPS officer , first Indian women to go into space .(Roll no. 11-20)
c) Paste India’s physical map and mark India’s neighbouring countries and water bodies surrounding India .(roll no. 21-30)
d) Make a collage of India’s different costumes , food and dance according to different states . (roll no. 31-35)
