There are also topical creams that can help.

Talk to your health care provider about which pain medicine is best for your son.Problems with using pain medicine are rare and usually not serious. Additionally, non-medication pain relief measures will be used to help manage your babys pain. Followingthe circumcision, your baby will receive Tylenol.

    UTICA JAUNDICE

Jaundice is more common in breast fed babies. Here are a few things for you to know.

Kada vaa beba pije male koliine mlijeka, on/ona nema stolicu i bilirubin nemoe biti odstranjen iz stolice. When your baby only drinks small amounts of breast milk, his/her bowels arentmoving and the bilirubin cant be removed in the stools.

Doktori preporuuju esto dojenje, najmanje 8 do 10 puta u toku 24 sata.Doctors encourage continued and frequent breast-feeding (at least 8 to 10 timesevery 24 hours).

Giving your baby water, in addition to breast milk, will not decrease his/herbilirubin level.

In some cases, your babys doctor may encourage supplementation with formulaor the temporary interruption of breast-feeding with substitution of formula.

If you are asked to use a different method of feeding for 1 to 2 days, continue topump every 3 hours and store your breast milk as your nurse has taught you.

Jaundice, in most instances, is normal, harmless and usually goes away by the tenth dayof life. If jaundice is severe, however, brain damage can occur. It is important to keep this appointment. A repeat

Babys skin is becoming yellow in color. The color change moves fromhead to toe, so the infant with mild jaundice may look yellow only in theface while one with severe jaundice will be yellow all over the entire body.

Poor feeding or lactation difficulties.

Promjene u ponaanju ili smanjena aktivnost, ukljuujui spavanje ukojem beba prespava 2 ili vie obroka.Changes in your babys behavior or decreased activity, including sleepingthrough 2 or more feedings.

Dark urine or no wet diapers for greater than 8 hours.
