The Highlands at Morristown station is a prime example of the success in public/private partnerships which include NJ transit, the Town of Morristown MPA, Woodmont Properties and Roseland Property Co. This community was developed entirely upon NJ Transit land only steps away from the Morristown train station, with its Manhattan Midtown-Direct service to Penn station. The rehabilitation plan includes three city blocks ranging from West park place to the North to MacCulloch Avenue to the south.
