INTRODUCTION
From Retinex theory it is known that the illumination of an image does not vary
much across the image [1].
The following chapters are organized as follows. Chapter 2 deals with the liter-
ature survey (...). Chapter 3 covers ..... Chapter 4 covers... Chapter 7 provides a
brief conclusion of the thesis work.
