Among these is the Nissan Kicks, the official car of the Rio 2016 Games, which escorted the Olympic torch for more than three months across Brazil to the Maracanã Stadium on August 5. Kicks is the first Nissan vehicle inspired by millennials in Latin America and is available first in the region before arriving in more than 80 countries around the world. Nissan LEAF vehicles will also transport medal winners from venues to Casa Brasil. The athletes have been mentored and participated in workshops about sports training, financial management and good sportsmanship. Nissan also supports every Brazilian athlete who has qualified for the Olympic Games, by sponsoring Team Brazil. Athletes will be joining us at our activation sites. At the “Nissan Kicks House,” located at the Olympic Park live site in Barra de Tijuca, the public can join interactive experiences, take a hometown picture with the Olympic Torch, play games related to Kicks technologies and see the new concept car Nissan BladeGlider. Watch vehicles “celebrate” in an interactive performance when Brazil or Japan athletes win medals. At the Olympic Boulevard, in downtown Rio, the challenge will be facing a 40-meter-high bungee jump. USAIN BOLT – Nissan’s Global Director of Excitement, is starring in a digital campaign in

which he races against a new and unexpected challenger -- fire. The two-minute mini-documentary

“Bolt vs Flame” features Bolt explaining what it’s like to be the world’s fastest man and how he

is preparing for the Rio Games. In the film, the sprinter also drives his Nissan GT-R, painted in

“Bolt Gold,” which was exclusively customized for him. The campaign was supported by a series

of teasers on global social media channels, featuring a series of 9.58 second videos and movie

posters created from 19,000 actual matchsticks being lit on fire for dramatic effect.

NISSAN KICKS HOTEL PRESENTS – Located on Copacabana Beach, the

Nissan Kicks Hotel offers spectacular panoramic views from the rooftop. Nissan and Universal

Music are hosting exclusive parties with top Brazilian entertainers. We have limited passes

INTELLIGENCE MOBILITY TEST DRIVES – Come along for a ride in one

NISSAN LEGACY TO RIO – Through the Nissan Institute, the company supports

Miratus Association, a badminton training center at the Chacrinha community, in the West area of

Rio de Janeiro. Miratus’ priority is to offer pedagogical support to young residents of the area, with

reinforcement classes and after school activities to complement their education. Team Nissan athlete

Ygor Coelho, who started playing badminton at Miratus, will represent Brazil at Rio 2016.

The company is also supporting a major urban and social transformation in Caju, an underserved

area in Rio de Janeiro. A partnership between Nissan Brazil, Gol de Letra Foundation, Firjan, Sebrae

and Sesi, the program will transform Gol de Letra, a community facility that provides mentoring and

learning opportunities to more than 800 children and adults through “The Caju: A New Look,” a part

of Transforma Rio 2016.
