TRAVEL LIGHT. MICRA produces one of the lowest CO2 emissions for a petrol engine whilst boasting diesel-like fuel economy.

STOP START. Standard on all DIG-S models, Stop/Start reduces pollution in city traffic. The engine automatically turns off when your MICRA is at a standstill (in traffic jams for example) improving fuel economy by around 4%. As soon as you disengage the clutch (MT) or release the brake (CVT), the engine will smoothly restart.

DIG-S ENGINE. Offering diesel-rivalling economy, MICRA’s Pure Drive 1.2L DIG-S 98 HP, supercharged petrol engine with manual transmission incorporates innovative technologies that reduce the amount of power lost through heat, pumping and friction losses, improving fuel consumption through optimised energy management.

In 2011, MICRA was awarded a four-star rating by EURO NCAP (European New Car Assessment Programme).

ABS. If you ever have to push down hard on the brakes, the Anti-lock Braking System limits wheel lock-up to help maintain control and stability.

Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). No more guesswork: Each tyre pressure is monitored. If one of them has low pressure, a signal will light up on the dash alerting you to add pressure.

Vehicle Dynamic Control. Electronic Stability Program (ESP) controls brake pressure to individual wheels and reduces engine torque to help stabilise the vehicle’s direction if tyre adhesion limits are accidently exceeded.

TCS. The Traction Control System controls brake pressure to individual wheels and reduces engine torque to maximise traction.
