NiNdooiNbah stud cattle MaNageMeNt PrograM:

At birth all calves are weighed and tagged with management tags, Dam ID tag and electronic ID. this data is submitted to Breedplan for calving traits. Prior to weaning all calves have had 7 in 1, Bovillus MH and Botulism injections. At weaning they are weighed and vaccinated with three germ blood. Post weaning they finish their “calving vaccinations” with Pestiguard. In the lead into to summer they are also vaccinated with Pilliguard.

the weaners are freeze branded with their tattoo number and have carcass scan data taken between 400 and 600 days plus a weight. the weaners are kept in large management groups so we can make full use of the Breedplan analysis.

the stud cattle are pasture fed and supplemented with a tMr. their weights and condition are monitored so that they develop well during this critical phase of their life.

the bulls receive annual 7 in 1, Pestiguard, Botulism and Vibrio booster vaccinations (their next boosters are due in September 2013).

During mustering at Nindooinbah we expose our cattle to as many different styles as possible. We regularly use horses, dogs and motorbikes using Low Stress Stock Handling principals. A great deal of time is spent with them in the paddock on foot or with vehicles. Good temperament is very important; we have included docility scoring to the Breedplan analysis as a further aid to this trait.

the bulls have had preliminary tick treatments and are eligible to be presented to the clearing dips.

We are all very proud of this line of bulls and believe that they have been well setup for an extremely productive life.

A Brief Description of EBVs and $Index Valuesthe following is a brief description of Angus GrOUP BrEEDPLAN EBVs and Breedobject $Index Values and Accuracies. For a more detailed explanation of these please refer to the Angus Society of Australia web site (http://www.angusaustralia.com.au).

Angus GrOUP BrEEDPLAN is an advanced genetic evaluation system that provides a genetic description of Angus cattle for a comprehensive range of traits influencing fertility, growth and carcase performance. It provides predictions of the genetic merit of individual animals called Estimated Breeding Values (EBVs). EBVs are based on all available pedigree and performance records provided by breeders in Australia and New Zealand, along with available overseas genetic information.

EBVs are expressed in the units of measurement for each particular trait, and are shown as +ive or –ive differences from the breed base. the average EBV for different traits changes over time as the breed makes genetic progress. the averages for calves born in 2009 are shown below. these averages provide a useful benchmark for comparisons of EBVs for individual animals.

As more performance information becomes available on an animal (or it’s progeny, or relatives) then the accuracy of it’s EBVs for particular traits will increase. trAItS OBSErVED ~ Indicates those traits that have been recorded and are contributing to the EBV’s calculated for an animal. (these should appear directly below the table displaying the animals EBV’s).

CALVING EASE DIr (%) ~ Estimates of the genetic differences between animals in the ability of their calves from 2 year old heifers to be delivered without assistance. CALVING EASE DtrS (%) ~ Estimates of the genetic differences between animals in the ability of their 2 year old daughters to calve without assistance.

GEStAtION LENGtH (DAYS) ~ Estimates of the genetic differences between animals in the number of days from the date of conception to the calf birth date.

BIrtH Wt (KG) ~ Estimates of the genetic differences between animals in calf birth weight.

200-DAY Wt (KG) ~ Estimates of the genetic differences between animals in liveweight at 200 days of age.




MAtUrE COW WEIGHt (KG) ~ Estimates of the genetic differences between animals in cow weight at 5 years of age.

MILK (KG) ~ Estimates of the genetic differences between animals in milk production, expressed as variation in 200-day weight of daughter’s calves.

SCrOtAL SIZE (CM) ~ Estimates of the genetic differences between animals in scrotal circumference at 400 days of age.

DAYS tO CALVING ~ Estimates of the genetic differences in female fertility, expressed as the number of days from the start of the joining period until subsequent calving.

CArCASE WEIGHt (KG) ~ Estimates of the genetic differences between animals in carcase weight, adjusted to 650 days of age.

EYE MUSCLE ArEA (CM2) ~ Estimates of the genetic differences between animals in eye muscle area at the 12/13th rib site, in a 300kg carcase.

rIB FAt (MM) ~ Estimates of the genetic differences between animals in fat depth at the 12/13th rib site, in a 300 kg carcase.

rUMP FAt (MM) ~ Estimates of the genetic differences between animals in fat depth at the P8 rump site, in a 300kg carcase.

rEtAIL BEEF YIELD % (rBY%) ~ Estimates of the genetic differences between animals in percentage retail beef yield, in a 300kg carcase.

INtrA-MUSCULAr FAt % (IMF%) ~ Estimates of the genetic differences between animals in percentage intra-muscular fat (marbling) at the 12/13th rib site, in a 300 kg carcase.

DOCILItY trIAL ~ Docility EBVs are expressed as differences in the percentage of progeny that will be scored with acceptable temperament (ie. either “docile” or “restless”). Higher, more positive, Docility EBVs are more favourable. For example, a bull with an EBV of +20 would be expected to on average produce 15% more progeny with acceptable temperament than a bull with an EBV of -10.

NET FEED INTAKE TRIAL (KG/DAY ~ Estimates of the genetic differences between animals for feed efficiency. For a more detailed explanation of Group BrEEDPLAN EBV’s and Accuracies, please refer to Understanding EBVs (http://www.angusaustralia.com.au/BP_Understanding_EBVs.htm) and Understanding Accuracies (http://www.angusaustralia.com.au/BP_Understanding_Accu.htm).

Long fed / Certified Australian Angus Beef $ Index ~ based on a high fertility self replacing commercial Angus herd where steers are grown out to be long fed for the high quality, high marbled Japanese export market. Selection of animals using this index will increase IMF % of your herd, and emphasis is also placed on 600 day growth.

Short Fed Domestic $ Index ~ based on a high fertility self replacing Angus herd selling feeder steers and heifers for the short fed domestic feedlot trade. Emphasis is placed on growth to 400 days and high carcase yield while maintaining fertility and marbling.

Heavy Grass Fed Steer $ Index ~ based on a self replacing herd that sells heavy grass fed steers for markets like the EU and light grass fed Jap Ox. Emphasis is on growth and carcase yield while maintaining fertility and marbling.

terminal $ Index ~ for herds where no animals are kept for breeding. For example using Angus bulls over dairy cross cows for vealer production or over tropical cows with steers and heifers grown out for short feeding. Emphasis is on growth and carcase yield with no weighting placed on calving ease, female fertility or milk.

All Brangus Bulls, other than the 50/50, are dual registered with Australian Brangus and are eligible for transfer at the owners expense.

tick clearaNce All sale cattle have been pre-treated for ticks and are ready for tick clearance.

after sale delivery Please nominate suggested time and place for deliveries at registration. Elders will be handling deliveries. Delivery of all cattle must take place within seven days.

Every care will be taken but absolutely no responsibility accepted for cattle that remain on property after sale.

the sale will be interfaced with Auctions Plus, in real time online in conjunction with the open cry auction being conducted on property at “Nindooinbah”, Beaudesert, QLD. the order of the sale will be as per catalogue and advertised start time is 1:00pm. the sale is expected to take 3 hrs.

Bidding on Auctions Plus is only available to registered Auction Plus users. registration is free but must occur 48hrs prior to the sale. Auctions Plus technology allows you to be part of the sale, enabling buyers to view and participate in real time either at home or at your local agent’s office. Angus, Ultrablack and 50/50 Bulls have been recorded on Angus Australia Multibreed register. the remaining Brangus bulls have been dual recorded with Australian Brangus and the Angus Australia Multibreed register. Our large contemporary groups and tight calving puts high quality evaluation pressure on all our progeny. We use the breedplan data within breed and within breed percentage to give us relevant performance information. this catalogue has been formatted following that principle.

What is aN ultrablack?

UltraBlack males and females at Nindooinbah are carefully blended crosses by registered Brangus (3/8 Brahman content) sires out of registered Angus cows.

the UltraBlack programme at Nindooinbah provides the best genetics that the Angus and Brangus breeds has to offer.

What is the breed Make-uP?

the result is an animal with 3/16 Brahman and 13/16 Angus content.

What are the attributes of the ultrablack?

Simply Black, polled and sleek-coated

the 3/16 Brahman blood makes for a sleeker-coated animal conferring heat resistance such that the animal can survive and breed in a number of climatic zones.

the phenotype of the animal shows clean sheaths in bulls. Hump and ears are minimal making them eligible for MSA programs while their polled heads assist in crossbreeding programs that aim to breed the horns off future cattle. the effects of maternal hybrid vigour is evident in the females producing a high level of weaning weight relative to females joined through high fertility and mothering performance through to weaning.

is this a NeW breed?

UltraBlacks are relatively new to Australia but have grown popular in the southern States of USA e.g. texas in the last decade, where there are herds who

have been producing multi-generation UltraBlacks, inter-breeding UltraBlack bulls and cows.

What geNetics are iN the NiNdooiNbah ultrablacks?

the base for the UltraBlacks is a herd of 600+ of the top performance-recorded Angus females in the country mated or flushed to semen from trait-leading US Brangus sires mainly from the famous Brinks Brangus program in texas. these sires have been selected with a strong emphasis for carcase yield, marbling and fertility.

What is the role for the ultrablacks iN the North?

With their improved heat resistance relative to straightbred Angus, UltraBlack bulls can be used in harsher environments. Mated to high grade Brahman cows UltraBlack bulls will provide a strong level of hybrid vigour, improved carcase quality and a higher level of reproductive performance in the daughters combined with the ability to be adapted herd replacements.

UltraBlack females mature early but with their 3/16 Brahman content are well adapted to a range of extensive environments in northern Australia. Being 13/16 Angus means the widely recognised Angus traits are well represented in these cattle. they are particularly suited to more extensive grazing areas in the non-ticky zone of Queensland where distance between waters is a factor.

Nindooinbah Ultrablacks


Nindooinbah is commited to performance-record all its seedstock: Angus, Brangus and UltraBlack for multi-trait genetic improvement and selection and to clearly document those genetics for our clients to make better buying decisions.

the UltraBlacks at Nindooinbah, together with their Brangus sires and Angus dams have recently been enrolled in the Angus Australia multi-breed (MBr) register, which over time will provide valid across-breed type comparisons.

However such comparisons will take some years to reach a level of accuracy such that across-breed EBVs can be strongly utilised to compare the UltraBlacks directly with straightbred Angus and Brangus.

IMPORTANT: Nindooinbah Ultrablack EBVs

MBr EBVs on UltraBlacks in this catalogue should be considered as within-breed type EBVs only. the only valid EBV comparisons for the UltraBlacks

on offer are with other UltraBlack EBVs.

they are extremely useful for selection within the UltraBlacks, on offer.

the standardized Bull Breeding Soundness Evaluation uses prescribed assessments (VBBSE) and summarises the result into in to five fertility components. If a bull meets all the minimum standards at all levels of the VBBSE, it has a high probability of being fertile.

At common law: a bull sold as a breeding bull should be able to breed (Supreme Court of NSW, Decision), so it is very important that as many as possible of the components of fertility are met in the VBBSE. A pass on VBBSE is not an express guarantee, but rather an indication of the potential breeding value of the bull in a normal mating situation.

A full VBBSE of an animal includes identification, history (including vaccinations) plus 5 key components, namely:

A general physical examination including structure (conformation) and upper reproductive tractAn examination of the testes and measurement of scrotal sizeA serving assessment to evaluate libido and mating ability Collection and assessment of a semen sampleLaboratory examination of sperm morphology.The ACV recommends all five components be used for higher value bulls which may need to be used for single sire mating, or with heavier mating loads under more intensive conditions. Both the vendor and buyer can decide which fertility components they require

their bulls to pass to meet their objectives during a transaction.

the ACV recommends VBBSEs be reported in a standardised format appropriately named Bull Reporter – with individual certificates available, or multi-bull reports for larger numbers.

the cost of a VBBSE will vary according to the number of fertility components examined, the time and facilities involved and the need to use an accredited sperm morphologist. Compared with the cost of advertising, agent fees, insurance and pre-sale feeding, a VBBSE is a marginal expense providing an objective indicator of an extremely important attribute of a bull.

So, next time you are looking for a bull, look at more than the glossy pictures, and the presentation – try to determine if you are satisfied that the bull has all the genetics you want and has passed an objective assessment of fertility.

Latest Brangus Genetic Evaluation confirms Nindooinbah Performance Black Brangus (NIN) Deliver Superior GeneticsThe August 2012 Group BREEDPLAN run for Brangus confirms the genetic strength of the Nindooinbah Brangus herd, bred in the ticks near Beaudesert, Queensland.

In summary, comparing Nindooinbah Brangus and the Breed averages for 2011 BrEEDPLAN recorded cattle (2486 calves) shows:

Birth Weight: NIN (-0.6) lower than Breed (-0.3): therefore easier calving

600-Day Growth: NIN (+31) nearly double Breed (+18): more growth

Scrotal Size: NIN (+0.7) twice Breed average (+0.3): more fertility

Carcase Weight: NIN (+17) nearly double the Breed (+10): heavier steer carcases

Eye Muscle Area: NIN (+0.9) higher than Breed (+0.7): more muscle

Marbling %: NIN (+0.3) 3 times higher than Breed (+0.1): more meat quality

As can be seen from Chart 1 the average genetic merit of NIN Brangus animals nearly doubles (2x) the breed average for growth genetics to 18 months of age (600-D).

Heavy steer producers will be rewarded by buying NIN bulls with high EBVs for 600-Day Weight and Carcase Weight.

Weaner producers too will gain from the superior 200-D Growth (+13) and Milk +2) averages in the herd.

Commercial producers aiming to use carcase Brangus herd bulls to improve MSA or feedlot compliance will be rewarded by using NIN bulls with superior EBVs for Eye Muscle Area, retail Beef Yield% and Marbling (IMF%).

the NIN programme aims to deliver growthy Brangus bulls with superior carcase yield as well as carcase quality without sacrificing calving ease or fertility.

High Indexing Brangus

the average NIN Brangus bull will deliver almost double the genetic gain to the complete domestic (+29) or export (+25) supply chains compared to the average BrEEDPLAN recorded Brangus bull (+17 and +15).

the Brangus breed has two selection indexes based on the full spectrum of EBVs measured. the last two columns in Chart 1 compare the NIN average $indexes for the local and export steer to that of the breed.

A bull buyer should use the index to calculate the cumulative benefit to the supply chain he is targeting that the bull will give when mated to females. Half the genes of the bull will be passed on in each mating. Multiplying that figure with the number of females mated to the bull will give the lifetime $ value of that bull in improving performance from conception to carcase.

iMPortaNt Notice

All bids shall be treated as offers made upon the following terms and Conditions of Sale and all persons present are admitted to attend the sale on the basis that they have notice of these terms and Conditions.

1. the highest bidder shall, subject to Condition 2, be the purchaser provided that the vendor reserves the right to bid either by himself or through his agent or auctioneer and should any dispute arise among the bidders for any lot, during or immediately after sale of the lot, it shall be settled at the auctioneers absolute discretion who may, should one of the disputants advance, put the lot or lots up again. the bidding from time to time shall be regulated by the auctioneer and no bid shall be retracted.

2. the sale will be conducted on a “Sale” or “No Sale” basis whereby the lot for sale shall be knocked down to the highest bidder, but the sale will be subject to the acceptance of the highest bid by the vendor who will immediately after the fall of the hammer declare “Sale” or “No Sale”. Should the vendor reject the bid of the highest bidder such bidder will have the right of first refusal of the lot at the vendor’s nominated price for one hour after the lot has been passed out of the ring on the terms and Conditions herein set forth in so far as they shall apply.

3. the details of the purchaser, the purchase price and the lot sold as recorded by the sale clerk for and on behalf of the auctioneer shall be equally binding on both purchaser and vendor.

4. the auctioneer expressly reserves the right, without giving any reason therefore, to:-

(a) refuse to acknowledge any bid;

(b) Withdraw any lot or lots before or during the sale;

(c) Exclude any person from the auction venue should it think fit.

5. Each lot in all cases shall be at the risk and expense of the purchaser, upon acceptance of his bid by the vendor or upon acceptance of the highest bidder’s offer by the vendor whichever shall be the earlier.

6. Except as expressly provided in these terms and Conditions of Sale no guarantee or warranty shall be given in respect of any lot sold under these Conditions as to pedigree, sex, age, breeding condition or otherwise howsoever, and no guarantee, warranty or condition whatsoever shall be implied from any affirmation made before or at the time of the sale, or from any circumstances of the sale, but in all cases where a guarantee is intended the same shall attach and be enforceable only if reduced to writing before delivery of the lot and signed by the vendor or by the auctioneer acting as agent for the vendor, and the absence of such writing shall be conclusive evidence in case of dispute that no guarantee warranty or condition whatsoever was given or implied.

7. In the event of any dispute in respect to the sale of any lot:-

(i) the purchaser shall nevertheless be obliged to pay to the auctioneer the full purchase price and any other moneys or interest payable by the purchaser in accordance with these terms and conditions.

(ii) the vendor and the purchaser shall resolve the dispute between themselves;

(iii) the auctioneer shall have no liability or responsibility in regard to the dispute; and

(iv) No lot shall be returned to the auctioneer and the purchaser shall indemnify the auctioneer for all costs, expenses and damages which the auctioneer is put to or incurs by reason of the purchaser so doing.

8. the name of the vendor for whom the auctioneer acts is acknowledged to have been furnished to purchasers prior to sale and further particulars will in all cases be furnished to a purchaser if required. In the case of any dispute the remedy of the purchaser shall be against the vendor only and in no case or under any circumstances against the auctioneer who is to be regarded for all intents and purposes as agent for a disclosed principal.

9(a) PAYMENt - Unless prior credit arrangements have been made in writing with the auctioneer the full purchase price for each lot shall be due and payable to the auctioneer in cash upon acceptance of the highest bid or the highest bidder’s offer by the vendor and prior to delivery. Notwithstanding that delivery is given to or possession obtained by the purchaser or his representative prior to the payment of the purchase money in full the property in any lot which is sold shall not pass to the purchaser until the full purchase price and all cheques, promissory notes, bills of exchange, acceptance orders or drafts given in connection with such payment have been paid and liquidated, and until property shall pass, the purchaser shall hold such lot as bailee, provided that in all cases should such payment not have been made and liquidated within 14 days of the date of the sale the auctioneer reserves the right to:-

(i) rescind the contract on behalf of the vendor and repossess and resell any lot;

(ii) recover from the purchaser interest upon the purchase price at a rate per annum which aggregates the 90 day Bill rate plus two percentum. For the purposes of this condition “the 90 day Bill rate” is the rate published regularly in the Australian Financial review, expressed as a percentage per annum. If at any time the Financial review ceases to publish a 90 day Bill rate, the auctioneer shall determine and advise the purchaser of the interest rate to apply for the purpose of this condition.

(b) the auctioneer is selling as the del credere agent of the vendor and the full purchase price of any lot sold shall be payable by the purchaser to the auctioneer and be fully recoverable by the auctioneer in its own name.

10. If the purchaser shall neglect or fail to comply with any of the within conditions, any lot purchased by him may be immediately resold by public auction or private contract, with or without notice, at the risk of the former purchaser, who will be held responsible for all loss and expenses arising out of such resale, and shall not participate in any profit accruing therefrom.

11. Any vendor or purchaser removing the sale number from any lot after it has been sold will fully indemnify all affected parties for any loss, costs or damage should the lot be wrongly delivered.

12. the purchasers, if more than one, shall be jointly and severally bound by these terms and Conditions, and shall jointly and severally carry out and perform same.

13. Any person who advances a bid on a lot shall do so on the expressed condition and understanding that should that person’s bid be the highest bid and such bid is accepted by the vendor, then that person will be held personally liable for the price so agreed upon, regardless of the fact that that person may be acting on behalf of another party, either disclosed or undisclosed to the vendor or the auctioneer, provided however, that this Condition shall not in any way negate the vendor’s right to claim against any principal and in such case the bidder’s liability shall be construed to be by way of guarantee.

14. The auctioneer may, should it think fit, make arrangements on a purchaser’s behalf for the feeding, watering, trucking, shipping of and general attendance to any lot after sale but no responsibility will be accepted by the auctioneer and all such service will be at the purchaser’s risk and expense.

15. No lot will be delivered until the sales invoice has been checked and signed by the purchaser or his duly authorised representative.

16(a) Each lot in all cases shall be sold with all faults, if any, and excepting those conditions and warranties implied by the trade Practices Act or any applicable State legislation which cannot be contractually excluded and excepting conditions and warranties expressly contained in these terms and Conditions of Sale, any express or implied condition, statement or warranty, statutory or otherwise, is hereby excluded. the auctioneer is not liable in respect of any error, misdescription or omission in any particulars appearing or stated regarding the descriptions or pedigrees of any lot offered for sale and no such error, misdescription or omission shall entitle the purchaser to annul the sale or reject the lot or claim any compensation, damage or abatement in price.

(b) Each lot will be sold subject to passing all veterinary tests required by the law of the State or country to which the purchaser intends to transport that particular lot, such tests to be undertaken at the purchaser’s expense and concluded immediately following the sale. In the event of a lot failing to pass these tests, the sale shall be null and void, any purchase moneys paid by the purchaser shall be refunded and property in the lot shall revert to or remain with the vendor.

17. GUArANtEES OF FErtILItY:-

17.1 BULLS. Save and except for calves at foot, all bulls are guaranteed breeders and to so prove within six months of the date of sale or by reaching the age of 30 months whichever date shall be the later.

17.2 FEMALES. Save and except for female calves at foot, all females are guaranteed to be in calf or go into calf within six months of the date of sale or by the age of 30 months whichever date shall be the later. A positive pregnancy test certified by a qualified veterinary surgeon shall be sufficient evidence that the animal is in calf.

17.3 Claims under Clauses 17.1 and 17.2 guarantees of fertility shall be made to the vendor within six months from the date of sale or prior to the animal entering a quarantine area other than on the vendor’s property.

17.3.1 All claims must be accompanied by a veterinary certificate which shall clearly identify the basis of the claim.

17.3.2 Infertility resulting from injury or disease occuring after the sale of the animal shall not be covered by this guarantee.

17.3.3 the vendor retains the right to have the animal placed on a property nominated by him or returned to his own property for further assessment of fertility for a period not exceeding six months. In the event of the animal being proven fertile within the period, the costs incurred shall be borne by the purchaser. In the event of the animal not being proven fertile within the period the costs incurred shall be borne by the vendor.

17.4 LIABILITY OF A VENDOR. Except for costs defined elsewhere in the conditions of sale, the liability of a vendor in respect of claims relating to fertility shall not exceed the purchase price of the animal(s) or to provide mutually agreed upon replacement animals.

17.5 rEFUNDS. In the event of a claim being substantiated and the purchase price being refunded, the animal/s shall automatically become the property of the vendor and be returned to him or disposed of according to his instructions at his expense.

17.6 this guarantee shall be voided by the purchaser if -

(a) the animal is returned to the vendor -

(i) in poor physical condition or with any injury;

(ii) tests carried out on behalf of the vendor within fourteen days of such return proved positive to any diseases which may affect the animals fertility or ability to breed naturally; or

(b) the purchaser has collected and stored semen from a bull or embryos from a female.

17.7 In the event of a dispute as to whether a lot is a breeder, such dispute shall be resolved by the vendor and the purchaser and the auctioneer, while he will use his best endeavours to assist, shall have no liability or responsibility in that regard. In the event that a lot is alleged or proved not to be a breeder, the purchaser shall nevertheless be obliged to pay the auctioneer the full purchase price and any other monies or interest payable by the purchaser in accordance with these terms and Conditions.

18(a) Each lot shall be at the risk of the vendor in respect of any damage or injury, whether by disease, accident or otherwise, for the period that the lot be in the custody of the auctioneer, PrOVIDED tHAt the auctioneer, its servants, agents and employees shall use all reasonable care to protect and control the lot while it is in the auctioneer’s custody AND PrOVIDED tHAt when a lot has been sold, it shall be at the risk of the purchaser in all respects.


(b) If any vendor brings to the sale premises any lot which is dangerous, or infected with any disease, that vendor shall be liable for all injury, damages, costs, losses, or expenses which the auctioneer may sustain, incur or be put to either directly or indirectly as a result of the vendor so doing. the auctioneer reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to exclude from the sale, or put out of the sale venue or dispose of, any lot which in its opinion shows signs of any disease, whether infectious, contagious or not, or of any serious fault or of being dangerous.

19. DELIVErY - Except at the discretion of the auctioneer no lot shall be delivered to the purchaser unless payment of the purchase money together with any additional charges incurred including those expenses incurred by the auctioneer pursuant to Condition 14 hereof, is first made by the purchaser to the auctioneer. release of lots may be withheld by the auctioneer until personal cheques are cleared.

20. In these Conditions:-

(a) references to “Auctioneer” shall be taken to mean as the context so admits, the selling agent or any member, subsidiary or related corporation or body, officer, agent or employee thereof, authorised by the vendor to conduct the sale of the lot;

(b) “Purchaser” shall have the meaning ascribed to it in Condition 1;

(c) “Vendor” shall mean the person or corporation upon whose account lots are offered for sale and where a stud or farm is named shall mean the proprietor of that stud or farm;

(d) “Lot” shall be taken to mean the animal offered for sale and/or sold by the auctioneer on behalf of a vendor.

the hammer price is exclusive of GSt but GSt will be applied to the final hammer price and included on the invoice.
