AbstractMost of the SMEs in the batik industry were only concerned about the price offered and the quality of the rawmaterials. Of course, price offered and quality were still the important criteria, but knowing the location of supplierswho can provide the desired price and quality were also important and this can reduce the cost of production. InternetGeographical Information Systems (GIS), therefore, is a tool of great inherent potential for SMEs in the batik industrychoosing the supplier of raw material. The spatial modelling offered by GIS is directly applicable to understanding thelocation of each supplier and, and its relationship to cost of delivery. In this study, the proposed GIS for supplierselection is developed through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology; whereas, architecture ofinformation systems is described in the form of Use-Case Diagram, Context Diagram, and DFD, and database designis described in the form of ERD. Thus, alpha test and beta test are conducted in order to verify that the proposed GISsatisfies the specified requirements.

The World Congress on Engineering 2015 has been organized by the International Association ofEngineers (IAENG), a non-profit international association for the engineers and the computerscientists. The WCE 2015 takes place in Imperial College London, London, U.K., 1-3 July, 2015.

The congress scope covers the frontier topics in the theoretical and applied engineering andcomputer science subjects. The WCE conferences serve as excellent platforms for our membersand the entire engineering community to meet with each other and to exchange ideas. Theconferences also strike a balance between theoretical development and applications.

WCE 2015 has been organized with the help of conference committees incorporating over threehundred committee members who are prominent in the field as research center heads, facultydeans, department heads, professors, and leading research scientists from over 30 countries. WCEconferences are truly international meetings with participants from many countries across theworld.

WCE 2015 has attracted more than seven hundred paper submissions from over 50 countries. Allsubmitted papers have been peer reviewed. The total number of submissions to WCE 2015reviewed was 713. With the total number of 362 papers accepted, the overall acceptance rate atthe congress is 50.63%.

The Unified Transform for a Class ofReaction-Diffusion Problems with Discontinuous

Abstract—Reaction-diffusion mathematical models for study-ing, among others, highly diffusive brain tumors, that alsotake into account the heterogeneity of the brain tissue, arefrequently used in recent years. Current work, considers ageneralized class of such reaction-diffusion models that alsoallows both diffusion and reaction parameters to dependcontinuously in time. A series of transforms are applied toproduce an integral representation of the problem’s solution.Main approach used is Fokas unified transform which yieldsnovel integral representations of the solution in the complexplane that, for appropriately chosen integration contours, decayexponentially fast and converge uniformly at the boundaries.Combining these method-inherent advantages with numericalintegration techniques on hyperbolic contours, we produce anefficient method, with fast decaying error properties, for thesolution of the multi-domain reaction-diffusion model problem.

I. INTRODUCTION

Reaction-diffusion linear PDEs have been the corebiomathematical model for studying highly invasive andaggressive forms of brain tumors for many years now (e.g.[10], [7] and the references therein). The driving differentialequation of the basic model has the form

where c(x, t) denotes the tumor cell density at location x andtime t, ρ denotes the net proliferation rate (0.012 1/day, cf.[2]), and D is the diffusion coefficient representing the activemotility of malignant cells (0.0013 cm2/day, cf. Themodel also considers zero flux boundary conditions, whichimpose no migration of cells beyond the brain boundaries,and an initial condition c(x, 0) = f(x), where f(x) is theinitial spatial distribution of malignant cells.

Referring, now, to the above equation we proceed in the nextsections as follows:• Initially, by using appropriate transformations and

change of variables, we reduce the above equation intoan equivalent one with constant diffusion coefficient.

• In the sequel, for the one space dimension problemand by using the Fokas unified transform method (cf.[3], [4]), we produce an integral representation of thesolution in the complex plane that, for an appropriatelychosen integration contour, decay exponentially fast.

• Finally, we apply efficient numerical integration tech-niques, with fast decaying error properties, for thenumerical evaluation of the solution’s integral represen-tation.

We remark that our work here extends and completes theworks in [9] and [1].

Abstract—In paper the task about stabilization of program

motions of a balanced gyrostat with time-dependent inertia moments is considered. The active stabilizing control attached to the gyrostat by the principle of feedback is constructed. Conditions under which the desirable program motions property of asymptotic stability is possible are received. The task is solved on the base of a method of Lyapunov functions and a method of the limit equations and the limit systems.

I. INTRODUCTION

ROBLEMS about spatial orientation of satellites and aircraft in an orbit have important applied value and are

widely considered by authors in many notes. Spatial motions of aircraft concerning the center of masses are modeled by spherical motions of solid bodies or systems of bodies, in particular, gyrostats. The basic methods and principles of control of rotational motions of bodies and systems were studied, for example, in notes [1-3]. Modern domestic and foreign writers investigate tasks about stability of equilibrium positions and stationary motions of gyrostats in orbits [4, 5], about resonant and chaotic modes of motions [6, 7], about stabilization of the set program motions of gyrostats of various structure [8, 9].

This paper is devoted to research of opportunities of realization of program motions concerning the center of masses of two coaxial bodies system (gyrostat) of variable structure. As a gyrostat of variable structure two bodies – the carrier and the rotor allowing relative rotation round the general axis are considered. The rotor has time-dependent inertia moments. In paper the problem of stabilization is solved by active external control by the principle of feedback. The presented results are received on the base of a method of Lyapunov functions of the classical stability theory and of a method of the limit equations and limit systems [10].

II. PROBLEM DEFINITION AND MOTION EQUATIONS

system of two solid bodies. Body 1T is the carrier and body

rotor have the time-dependent inertia moments, and not changing positions of the centers of mass of both bodies. As a result the center of mass of all system have constant position in the point .O The condition about dependence of a tensor of inertia of a body on time allows to characterize existence of mobile parts of a design, redistribution or motion of masses in a gyrostat.

Coprime Factorizability and Stabilizability of

Abstract—This paper is concerned with the factorizationapproach to control systems. We consider the models in whichsome plants admit or do not admit coprime factorization.In the case where the plants admits only one-side coprimefactorization, it is known that the plant with additional zerosadmits both side coprime factorizations. However we show thatin the case where the plant do not admit coprime factorization,there exists a case where the plant with any additional zeroscannot admit coprime factorization. We will also consider theparallel plants, in which one of them is plant to be stabilized.Any stabilizable plants has some parallel plants that admitboth side coprime factorizations. However, we will show thatunstabilizable plants is not able to construct such parallelplants.

I. INTRODUCTION

IN the factorization approach[1], [2], [3], [4], a transfer

function is given as the ratio of two stable causal transfer

functions and the set of stable causal transfer functions forms

a commutative ring.

Since stabilizing controllers are not unique in general, the

choice of stabilizing controllers is important for the resulting

closed loop. In the classical case such as continuous-time

LTI systems and discrete-time LTI systems, the stabiliz-

ing controllers can be parameterized by the method called

“Youla-parameterization”[1], [2], [4], [5] (also called Youla-

Kucera-parameterization). However, there exist models in

which some stabilizable transfer matrices do not have their

right-/left-coprime factorizations in general[6], [7]. In such

models, we cannot employ the Youla-parameterization in

general.

We consider the models in which some plants admit or

do not admit coprime factorization. In the case where the

plants admits only one-side coprime factorization, it is known

that the plant with additional zeros admits both side coprime

factorizations. However we show that in the case where

the plant do not admit coprime factorization, there exists a

case where the plant with any additional zeros cannot admit

coprime factorization. We will also consider the parallel

plants, in which one of them is plant to be stabilized. Any

stabilizable plants has some parallel plants that admit both

side coprime factorizations. However, we will show that

unstabilizable plants has not able to construct such parallel

plants.

II. PRELIMINARIES

In the following we begin by introducing notations used

in this paper. Then we give the formulation of the feedback

stabilization problem.

A. Notations

a) Commutative Rings: We will consider that the set

of all stable causal transfer functions is a commutative ring,

denoted by A. The total ring of fractions of A is denoted

by F ; that is, F = n/d |n, d ∈ A, d is a nonzerodivisor.

This will be considered to be the set of all possible transfer

functions. If the commutative ring A is an integral domain, Fbecomes a field of fractions of A. However, if A is not an

integral domain, then F is not a field, because any nonzero

zerodivisor of F is not a unit.

b) Matrices: Suppose that x and y denote sizes of

matrices.

The set of matrices over A of size x × y is denoted

by Ax×y. In particular, the set of square matrices over Aof size x is denoted by (A)x. A square matrix is called

singular over A if its determinant is a zerodivisor of A, and

nonsingular otherwise. The identity and the zero matrices

are denoted by Ix and Ox×y , respectively, if the sizes are

required, otherwise they are denoted simply by I and O.

Matrices A and B over A are right-coprime over A if there

exist matrices X and Y over A such that XA + Y B = I .

Analogously, matrices A and B over A are left-coprime

over A if there exist matrices X and Y over A such that

AX + BY = I . Further, pair (N,D) of matrices N and Dis said to be a right-coprime factorization of P over A if (i)

the matrix D is nonsingular over A, (ii) P = ND−1 over F ,

and (iii) N and D are right-coprime over A. Also, pair

(N , D) of matrices N and D is said to be a left-coprime

factorization of P over A if (i) D is nonsingular over A, (ii)

P = D−1N over F , and (iii) N and D are left-coprime

over A. As we have seen, in the case where a matrix is

potentially used to express left fractional form and/or left

coprimeness, we usually attach a tilde ‘˜’ to a symbol; for

example N , D for P = D−1N and Y , X for Y N+XD = I .

B. Feedback Stabilization Problem

The stabilization problem considered in this paper follows

that of Sule in [8] and Mori and Abe in [9] who consider the

feedback system Σ [3, Ch.5, Figure 5.1] as in Figure 1. For

further details the reader is referred to [3], [9]. Throughout

this paper, the plant we consider has m inputs and n outputs,

and its transfer matrix, which itself is also called simply a

plant, is denoted by P and belongs to Fn×m.

Abstract—In this work it is proposed a metric to modeling a certain kind of the “lowness” of entropy that must have existed in the past with the objective of know if it is equivalent to the state of high entropy of the present, taking into account the gravitational clumping of matter both for the singularity at the big bang, as for a black hole. The state of low entropy as a very special case of the Big Bang singularity (gravitational clumping of matter), supported by the Penrose´s Weyl curvature hypotesis ( Penrose´s WCH), is studied here by developing a standard metric to discuss whether it is possible to link to the also gravitational clumping of matter corresponding to a black hole in the classical phase-space volume (CPSV), placing such groupings in the same number of Hawking´s box and therefore, in the time. It satisfies the Penrose's WCH detaching it from the classic phase-space volume (CPSV) that turns out to be inappropriate as WCH´s link that requires the second law of thermodynamics by the asymmetrical-time ingredient that presents the entropy in the past and in the present.

It emphasizes the need to discover a mathematical space that allow us to obtain the link between WCH and CPSV with the combination of variables that represent the past, present, high and low entropy.

I. INTRODUCTION

his paper discusses the idea of Roger Penrose about the low power state in the Big Bang which gives us the second law of thermodynamics, involved in his Weyl

curvature hypothesis (WCH)) from thirty-three years ago [1]. Since then, although there have been numerous cosmological models, these results show that they only satisfy the WCH but have not allowed the linking of WCH and classical phase-space volume (CPSV) [2,3].

We know there is an ingredient of asymmetrical-time [1,2,7-9] with second law implications for the unification of CPSV and WCH.

Therefore, it is a priority to discover a mathematical space that complements WCH, as the CPSV turns out to be

inappropriate to meet the Penrose hypothesis, not only in general relativity (GR), but also in cosmology [2,3].

With the aim of finding answers to unify the CPSV and WCH, the present study focuses on computations made in GR making use of the mathematical expression of entropy as a state of the logarithm measure of the volume [2] of matter using Ricci tensor, as well as the use of the Bekenstein-Hawking formula [2,4,9] in such tensor [4].

However, the model studied here allows to "measure the entropy", throwing results of the prevailing special state in the singularity of the Big Bang that argues the Penrose´s WCH in [2], contradicting to the CPSV.

Thus, it is inappropriate the phase-space volume occupied by the matter in the Hawking´s box to link it with Penrose`s WCH because gravity of matter introduces an additional level of unpredictability over quantum uncertainty that has not been resolved yet. To obtain entropy equivalence between past and present it is required a mathematical model not yet discovered, that clarifies the asymmetrical-time [1,2,7-9] ingredient of time.

There should be a quantum world that allows us to simultaneously measure the entropy of the past and present, like the Schrödinger´s cat scenario, alive and dead at the same time [5,6].

Asymmetrical-time [1,2,7-9] implications in measurements of entropy for study of the behavior of matter in the space-time continuum in General Relativity, is currently one of the most important issues to resolve in order to find a theory of quantum gravity [10-15] that allows unify confluence and spreading of flow lines in phase-state [13-15] in a gravitational body, according with the second law of thermodynamics, since the entropy is a quantum gravitational effect.

A strong constraint on “lowness” entropy in the big bang is that which holds that the Weyl tensor is identically zero [2,9,16-18]. In this case, as we approach the initial singularity [1,2,19-23] more and more closely, we find that Ricci tensor becomes infinite dominating near the initial singularity [2,9,24,25]. Thus Ricci dominates the initial singularity, rather than Weyl. This allows us to present arguments that have to do with the CPSV in which is discussed the high entropy by gravitational clumping in a tiny phase-space volume of Hawking´s box since point of view of Penrose [2,9,16-18].

The universe was created in a very special low entropy state with something like the 0Weyl constraint and,

according with Penrose [2], the entailment between WCH and R (quantum-mechanical state-vector reduction) is very strong at this respect, and everything seems to point in the same direction.
