...NIGHT OF THE LIVING VINYL...This month, Dr. Zorkon kept it light and fun with a pre-Halloween ZOMBIE infestation. He put together this great looking dio for the October meeting, featuring a hoard of Zombies attacking a group of Zombie Hunters and clerics. It was 8 feet of LIVING DEAD vs. the LIVING. My favorite pairing is the Swiss Guard figure being attacked by the guy in the REMAX jacket (yup...those relator folks are scary for sure!)
The good Doctor never fails to amaze. His projects are always unique and well crafted. This Zombie attack is no exception.
The Doctor prefers Sideshow figures because of their interesting sculpts, and his clothes and accessories come from a variety of sources. Great work! It certainly gave a Halloween feel to the evening.

A look at the
OCTOBER CLUB MEETING
Great October meeting! Lots of folks there and plenty of eye-candy. It was a great night and prelude to the Ft. Thomas show. Above is Paul’s hand painted rescue copter - nicely done!(1) Pedro’s beautifully weathered FJ, (2) Molly’s Jeep with wounded Marine. (3) Shawn’s Schwimmer with SS driver. (4) Paul had this great looking Marx wagon and horse with his handmade harness
rig. (5) Tim did this unique vignette of a tunnel rat crawling through a tunnel just under the surface of the ground. Like how he used plexiglass to support the tunnel ceiling in the front. (6) Finally, one more look at the Zombie Attack by Mark. It was beautiful work and a fun Halloween themed dio for the October Meeting. Boy, I am looking forward to Ft. Thomas. - PM

Continuing with the Halloween theme this month, we take a quick look at Point Man’s latestcomic idea...Inspired by J.K. Rowling’s famous books about the kid wizard, Harry Potter, Point Man is going to be working on a spoof with a character he is calling “HAIRY PUTTER”. The first story will be called Hairy Putter and the Swami’s Turban (Not loosly based on anything).“I love the Harry Potter stories and it seems to me that the stories could continue after the characters leave Hogwarts”, says Point Man. “Maybe they could do some post grad work at the ‘HOGWASH’ School of Magic or something”.
The figures use Ken heads with rooted hair and G.I. Joe Super Articulated Bodies which give them a heck of lot more flexibility than the standard Mattel bodies. The clothes come from a variety of sources.
“Not sure where this one is going to go. It could be a real short piece, or it could have some life to it depending on what people think, I guess we will see. Hopefully it will be funny”.
Main characters in the new comic, Hairy Putter and his best friend, Run Weebly.
