Maggie: Oh! Sorry…got caught in the moment. Hello and welcome to the Connection’s first annual “Night at the Tony’s” Hope: How is it annual if we have never done this before? Francesca: Shhh… The audience does not need to know that. WE need to charm them with our wittiness and array of musical selections and talents. Adam: Oh I see. It is an honor to be hosting tonight and I would like to thank everyone for their faith in me to be able to host. Gabrielle: That is their faith in ALL of us to be hosting.

Brianna: Tonight we will be showing you the best of the best. The crème de la crème of musical theater. Isabela: You will see it all. Brianna: From the tragedies (sad face) to the comedies (silly face). Eliana: To the romances and death scenes that will make you cry your eyes out All: Eh em…. Sarah: But without further ado we must start the show. We only have an hour to get through all the business Emily: And there is no business like show business Costume: Presenters will have a small accessory to denote their role. IE: Headband and Bowtie…. Costume: Wear Announcer Accessory

Adam: And the nominees are Newsies with “Seize the day”, Oklahoma with “Dream Ballet”, and A Chorus Line with “One”. Eliana: Our next award is being presented by and Emma and Sydney for Best Costume Design of a musical. Emma: This is going to be a tough one. There were so many costumes to choose from. Sydney: Agreed. The nominees are Shrek, Peter Pan, and Beauty and The Beast. Emma and Sydney: And the Tony goes to SHREK! Costumes: There will be specific character costumes as listed below and then there will be a selection of other fairy tale characters like three blind mice.

Adam: Back in the day, I used to fight to stay up until the end of the show, but my parents always made me go to bed, but not this year! I am hosting and I am staying up the whole night! Emily: Wait! How much longer?? I’m starting to get tired. (Whispered) Isabela: Me too! Plus this is a lot of pressure. How do I look? Sarah: We just started.. we haven’t even gotten to the best musical! Eliana: Oh… then we must continue on our way. Hope: The show must go on… Brianna: Our next nominee was nominated for best original score. Francesca: Please help me welcome the cast of Legally Blonde with the song “O.M.G.” Costume: The Girls will make sorority shirts. With either a DN for Delta Nu or their Initial. And they will have pink neck scarves.

Group 5: Oh My God Dear Elle, He's a lucky guy I'm, like, gonna cry I got tears coming out of my nose Mad props! He's the campus catch You're a perfect match Cause you both have such great taste in clothes Of course he will propose Dear Elle, Honey mazel tov future's taking off Bring that ring back and show it to me Four carats A princess cut Are you psyched or what?! I just wish i could be there to see When he gets down on one knee OmiGod omiGod, you guys Looks like Elle's gonna win the prize If there ever was a perfect couple, this one qualifies OmiGod, you guys OmiGod this is happening Our own homecoming queen and king Finally she'll be trying on a huge engagement ring for size OmiGod, you guys OmiGod!
