Bio:Based in Melbourne, Australia Nicole Tattersall has been creating artworks since 2006 and is most well known forher stencil art and illustration works. Being the current editor for Curvy, which aims to creatively inspire creativewomen, Nicole is an ambassador and constant inspiration for female artists throughout Australia and the World.

Nicoles style has changed several times throughout the years from simple outlines to her now exhibited urbaninspired stencil and illustrative works. The use of stenciling as a technique came about when she first started tocustomise her own surfboards.

Her works lend themselves to convey the context of the piece and the overall feel of the work through a selection

of mixed mediums, from the innocence and creative minds of two children to the dirty look created to interpret thestreets of a busy city.

Animal rights, the protection of the environment and the thought of using ones imagination are reoccurring themesin her works and are heavily influenced by her time spent at various beaches, surfing, her family trips away,Melbournes urban jungle and world news.

Being passionate about animal rights has lead Nicole to create works for WSPA Australia to aid in their campaignsand through being an advocate by talking about the issues. She has provided artwork to appear on promotionalmaterial to inspire people to stand up to the slaughter of dolphins in Japan at what many will know of as The Cove.

Works by Nicole currently reside in private collections Internationally and throughout Australia.

Using her Events Management skills Nicole has curated and organised a selection of group exhibitions and artevents; Athena Noschua, Random Collective, Art On Your Sleeve, Street Art For Ashes, the Melbourne Curvy 6, 7and 8 book launches, Sydney Curvy 8 book launch, and Split Personalities and Drip (duo exhibitions she did withfellow artist Megan Dell).

Nicole currently is the editor for Curvy and has previously written for We Make Stuff Good.
