Throughout history, ancient cultures warn of a major cataclysm in the year 2012. There have been tell-tale signs of an approaching cataclysm for a few decades. The escalation of natural disaster has the scientific community pointing the finger at global warming. Although, their findings’ linking the natural disasters to global warming deserves merit, their findings are far from conclusive. A report by Dr. William Gray from Colorado State University and Philip J. Klotzbach, posted on weathernewengland.com, in tells that the 2009 Atlantic Hurricane Season has had below average activity. In an article published by Sam Roberts on the New York Times website on July 31, 2009, he briefly explains the average temperature in New York City during the summer of 2009. Notably, he states that the temperature for both June and July did not reach 90 degrees. It’s well known among amateur astronomers that the Earth is farther away from the Sun when the northern hemisphere is experiencing summer. As a result, Earth’s northern hemisphere is subjected to more direct Sun light. This direct sun light is the reason for summer high temperatures. By these accounts and many others, the summer of 2009 may be noted as the “coolest” summer on record.

Life on Earth, as we know, would be very different if the Moon did not exist. The

These low levels seismic activities, over time, can compromise the structural integrity of human infrastructures’. In some severe cases, may result in structural collapse and possible loss of life. With that in mind, it stands to question: How would the Earth fair if an interstellar body with a mass similar to Jupiter, passes within close proximity to Earth?

In January of 1983, NASA launched IRAS (Infrared Astronomical Satellite). IRAS

is a joint venture between the United States, Great Britain, and the Netherlands. Soon after IRAS was launch, an article was published in the New York Times about observations made by the satellite. In the article, astronomers announced irregularities in the orbits of both Uranus and Neptune. Such irregularities can only be caused by a large interstellar object of incredible mass. An article published on December 30, 1983 by Thomas O'Toole, in the Washington Post, describes an unknown object approximately the size of Jupiter. In the article, astronomers surmised that the unknown object was about 50 trillion miles away from the Earth. In addition, there was some speculation among the astronomers that the massive object may be on a trajectory toward Earth. An object with a mass equivalent to Jupiter, moving through the solar system would perturb the orbits and possible rotations of any other interstellar body its gravitational field may come in contact with.

When approaching the subject matter of Nibiru and its relation to the year 2012, it is understandable that any individuals would be fraught with skepticism. There are many theories and opinions as to what may or may not occur in the year 2012. Some internet based article, suggests that Nibiru would make its pass near Earth near the end of the 21st century. Other articles dismiss Nibiru as a sensationalist claim, orchestrated for some nefarious reason. Among Evangelicals and Biblical scholars, the subject matter regarding the year 2012, would be referred to as the Tribulation. Reference to the Tribulation can be found throughout the Holy Bible. John the Baptist, the author of the Book of Revelations, describes a period in the future where humanity will endure a major cataclysm. He also, goes on to reveals the duration of this cataclysm. Throughout history, there has been countless documentation from countless cultures, describing some future event that would reshape the face of the Earth as we know it. Given what is known about the Moon’s influence on the Earth and the perturbation in the orbits of Uranus and Neptune, what is the likely scenario when Nibiru comes within the core of the solar system? As of now, Nibiru is visible in the skies over the southern hemisphere. As Nibiru moves closer to the core of the solar system, its gravitation influence will become much more intense. The result of this intense gravitational influence may include major atmospheric disturbance and an escalation of geological activity. Super violent thunder storm and extreme earthquakes may result in massive loss of life. It is projected that by May of 2011, Nibiru will cross the orbital plain. When Nibiru cross the orbital plain, it would be visible to everybody on Earth, appearing as a second sun. Proceeding from May of 2011, there would be an alarming escalation of violent weather patterns and geological disturbance. Nibiru’s presents in the inner solar system could perturb the orbits of some asteroids located in the Asteroid Belt between Mars and Jupiter. Some of these asteroids may be thrown onto a new orbit that may take them deep within the inner solar system. These asteroids may become a possible threat to Earth. Nibiru’s presents in the inner solar system will not only affect the Earth, but the Sun as well. Astronomical findings indicate when a comet comes within close proximity to the Sun; it is immediately followed by a Coronal Mass Ejection (CME). CMEs, or solar flares, are a major cause of concern in the scientific community. CMEs can cause electrical malfunctions on orbiting satellite and ground communication. When Nibiru moves closer to its perigee with the Sun, an escalation of violent solar activity could emerge. This escalation in solar activity could result in massive solar flares and possibly disrupt the normal rotation of the Sun. These massive solar flares could pose a real danger to Earth.

Earth could see an alarming escalation of geological, atmospheric, and solar disturbance proceeding May of 2011. The disturbances could reach its peak in February of 2013. It’s projected that in February of 2013, the Earth will move between Nibiru and the Sun. When this happens, this could disrupt Earth’s rotation, resulting in massive geological disturbance. Some estimate projects that over 75% of the world’s population could perish in the years between 2011 and 2014. It’s projected that by mid 2014, Nibiru will move out of the inner solar system. Knowing the degree in with Nibiru will interact with the Sun and the affect it will have on the Earth, the question remains: What is the government doing about it? When Nibiru begin to cross the orbital plain, there will be high probability of mass panic. In the mist of the panic, the United States and other nations may experience an economic collapse. An economic collapse could result in mass rioting. In an effort to maintain order and civil stability, the U.S. Government may declare martial law. According to geological studies, Earth is approximately 4.6 billion years old. During Earth’s lifespan, it has endured countless geological and climate changes. Some of these geological and climate changes resulted in the extinction of some species and the endurance of others. Every several million year, Earth endures a major extinction event. According to paleontological findings, there have been five major extinction events during the course of Earth’s lifespan. The worst of these events occurred 251 million years ago. This extinction event is known as the Permian-Triassic extinction. This event resulted in the dying of over 80% of all life on Earth at that time. Earth had a geologically documented history of mass extinctions. The question now is: Is the passing of Nibiru next in Earth’s mass extinction history?
