Ms. Do Hong Van became an ACCA member since 2007. She was veryexperienced in teaching and processed extensive practical experiences infinancial accounting. Ms Van has been taking important role as Chiefaccountant or Finance manager at in number of big international organizationsuch as Ford Vietnam (1995-1998), Shell Vietnam (1999-2000).

Nguyen Vu HoangPhD– Laws, Vietnamese Academy of Social Sciences

Dr. Nguyen Vu Hoang has been lecturing at the National Economics University(NEU) since 1995 and is currently Deputy Head, Department of Business Law,Faculty of Law, NEU. In autumn 2004, he became the trainer of InternationalTrade Center-UN CTAD/WTO (Switzerland). In April 2008, he became one oftwo drafters of Vietnam Arbitration Law 2010. Dr. Hoang was a member ofVietnam Lawyer Association. His teaching and consultative interests arelitigation, international arbitration, international maritime law, corporation law,international contract law, international insurance law, international investmentlaw and had wide experience in trade and international commercial law, as wellas of international private law.

Dr Hoang was successful author of 5 books in international trade law andinternational business transactions, coauthor of the 7 books and author of over80 articles on international trade law, international business transactions,business law and comparative law. He has at least 80 citations. His books havealways been cited and used as reference textbooks in various universities,libraries; including the book “International blocs and organizations oneconomic-commerce” has been used as Reference Textbook by Vietnam’sMinistry of Industry and Trade for teaching international integration courses inthe entire territory of Vietnam.

A part from his teaching experience, Dr. Hoang was taking roles of localconsultant, legal advisors for a number of projects and programsconducted/funded by local and international universities and internationalorganization such as the United Nation Development Program (UNDP),Japanese Ministry on Trade and Industry (METI), AusAID, … Also, in April2008, he was one of two drafters of Vietnam Arbitration Law 2010 - projectfunded by Vietnam National Assembly, the United Nations DevelopmentProgram (UNDP), Support for Trade Acceleration (STAR), the United StatesAgency for International Development (USAID).

Thambu Doraisamy – F5 & F9(MBA)

Thambu holds a BA (Hons) in Accounting & Finance from University of Wales and an MBAin Accounting & Finance from Hawaii Pacific University. He is also a graduate of theInstitute of Financial Accountants (UK).

Thambu was the Head of Accounting Programme and full-time Lecturer with MiddlesexUniversity, Dubai Campus and whilst in Malaysia he was lecturing full-time with DublinUniversity (Business School) Malaysian Campus. Thambu has over 19 years of experienceglobally for the ACCA (UK) and CIMA (UK) programmes and he has produced many prizewinners globally. Thambu has also lectured in the University of Shanghai, Jiao TongUniversity, Shanghai and at the various FTMS centers in the region.

Kwa Choon Kiat, Rick – F6 (VNM)

Rick is a member of the Association of Charter Certified Accountant and alsoholds an honors degree with the Oxford Brookes University, majoring inApplied Accounting.

He has more than 7 years of tax experience and currently works in one of theBig 4 accounting firms in Vietnam. With his experience, he is able to bring hispractical knowledge into his lessons to facilitate better understanding of thestudents. Before he arrived to Vietnam in 2007, he had also undertakenlecturing ACCA in one of the well-established tuition providers in Cambodia.

Lim Teck Chuan – F7

ACCA, CPA, Bsc. Applied Accounting, Oxfort Brookes University, UK

Lim Teck Chuan (Ivan) achieved the ACCA qualification in 2004 and obtained aBachelor degree from Oxford Brookes university from the UK. He began hiscareer in auditing with a reputable member of an international firm where hegained valuable professional and commercial experiences. In addition to theauditing experiences in various industries and services, Ivan also got lots ofexperiences in financial accounting with several largecorporations and public listed companies in Singapore. He possessed thepatience and determination to nurture students in developing their interest infinancial accounting. Balbeer Singh Mangat, Paper F8(ACA, CPA, PA, FCCA)

Mr B.S Mangat, Chairman of FTMS Group of Companies is a CharteredAccountant from England and Wales. Also a CPA, he has more than 30 years ofexperience in audit and tax and has worked for well known internationalcompanies before starting FTMS in 1986. The Group’s business includestraining and education, human resource management, corporate services,publishing and eBusiness. FTMS Group has operations in Asia, Africa andEurope. Balbeer is also a CPA in Singapore and a certified public accountantspecializing in Business Planning, Mergers and Acquisitions and JointVentures. Balbeer has conducted seminars and presentations on internal audit,corporate governance, accounting & finance, etc. for many multinationalcompanies, in Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Brunei and Hong Kong.

Eliott Betts – F9 & P5(ACCA)

Eliott’s youthful looks belie over 16 years of experience working ininternational financial markets in major financial centres around the world. Hethen decided on a career change and is now an ACCA member, winning a prizefor paper 3.4. He is now a full-time lecturer, specialising in finance andmanagement accounting papers.

Bùi Thu Trang – F9 TutorialACCA, MBA – CFVG

Trang is a member of the Association of Charter Certified Accountant (ACCA)and hold an MBA of the Centre Franco –Vietnamien de Formation à la Gestion(CFVG). Bui Thu Trang was an excellent ACCA student with being Prizewinner of 6 ACCA papers 2.4, F7, F9, P2, P3, P4, & P5 and one of 3 top ACCAAffiliates in 2008. She has 10 years extensive working experience in the areas ofmanagement accounting, and management consulting with differentinternational organizations. She has been lecturing CAT & ACCA programssince early 2009 and a lot of lecturing experience in different programsincluding some academic programs locally and internationaly. Trang iscurrently responsible for financial controlling of an international organisation.

Hua Chia Yee – P1 & P4(FCCA, CFA)

Hua is a CFA Charterholder and a Fellow Member of the Chartered Associationof Certified Accountants (FCCA). He is presently the Managing Director ofPhoenix Capital Corporation, a private equity firm specialising in investmentbanking and asset management based in Vietnam. Prior to joining Phoenix, hewas the General Manager, Corporate Planning of KBB Resources Berhad, avermicelli manufacturer listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia for 5 years.He also has 7 years of experience in merchant banking specialising in corporatefinance with RHB Sakura Merchant Bankers Berhad.

Hua has been lecturing professional qualification programs in Hong Kong andMalaysia since 2003, specialising in Financial Statements Analysis, Equitiesand Portfolio Management. He has also been lecturing the ACCA program,CFA programme and various finance related subjects in Vietnam, Malaysia,Hongkong, Singpaore and China since then.

Robert Moulin, P2FCCA

Robert Moulin brings twenty five years of professional accountancy experienceto his teaching. He is a fellow of the A.C.C.A.

After qualifying, he moved into industry from public practice and over the yearshas worked in senior finance positions for SME’s and global companiesincluding drinks group Bacardi and toy maker Mattel. For the past ten yearshe’s been advising businesses and training accountants on corporate reportingissues, especially with respect to International Financial Reporting Standards.Based in the UK, he teaches in Africa, Eastern Europe and the Middle East aswell as in Vietnam. Robert’s approach to teaching is driven by a determinationfor accountants to be able to clearly demonstrate a deep understanding of IFRS,and their role in the communication of financial performance around the globe.

Robert is also a classically trained musician and a broadcast journalist, workingfor the radio and television output of the UK’s leading national broadcaster.
