The Conference Travel Card allows yourdelegates unlimited travel on theextensive Tyne & Wear Metro system andon board NewcastleGateshead’s citycentre-based QuayLink buses.

As an event organiser you can obtain thecard on behalf of your delegates and dueto its flexible nature, you can specify howmany days you would like the card to bevalid for, depending on the length of yourevent.

MetroThe Tyne & Wear Metro connects all themajor destinations in the region. Serviceslink central NewcastleGateshead with theairport in 22 minutes, and the coast in 30minutes.

The Metro is the ideal way to get to themain shopping areas around Haymarketand Monument, and the hotels, cafés and

restaurants of Jesmond. Metro trains rundaily from 5.30am to midnight, every5-10 minutes during the day and every10-20 minutes in the evenings.

A variety of ticket options can be boughtfrom machines at all Metro stations,however all-day travel on the Metro systemis included with a Conference Travel Card.
