ProgrammeOBJECTIVESGeared to shape the future of India’s HR, the ‘Next Generation CHROs’ program aims to build leaders who drive business outcomes through HR. Designed by the best-in-class academicians and leading business advisors, the program (now in its third iteration) aspires to expand the talent pool of CHROs in India.

This programme is anchored in the context of disruptions affecting the business landscape, programme begins by uncovering key success mantras for Next Generation CHRO. It is then followed by a detailed focus on cultivating critical business skills that transcend the realm of HR. Lastly, participants are prepared to drive business results through human capital strategy levers.

ProgrammeCONTENT

Module 1: Personal Leadership

The environment that businesses operate under are undergoing rapid changes driven by technology, shifting geopolitical power equations and globalization of consumer markets and market for talents. Against this backdrop, how do CHROs make sense of this world and formulate strategies to take the organization forward from the point of HR strategy?

Learning Outcomes:

• Gauge impact of macro-trends and disruptions on business and HR

• Analyse interconnected business problems to propose people solutions

• Align HR service delivery model to further business priorities

• Understand structural, job content and cultural anchors to drive agility

• Explore digital transformation and ensure organizational readiness

Module 2: Functional Leadership

The changing business dynamics calls for a fresh new approach to the conduct of the HR function not as an independent function but interconnected with the business strategy. Designed to embed HR leaders in functional understand of Finance, Marketing and Analytics, Module 2 enables future HR leaders to drive sharp human capital strategies for business impact.

• Build understanding of financial decisionmaking, and its linkage to HR areas

• Deploy data-driven mindset to deploy analytics for business results

• Lead change to achieve a desired outcome, reduce risk and accelerate impact

Module 3: Organisational Leadership

Navigating organizational change, owning succession planning and anchoring the people side of strategy are probably the key aspects of an HR leaders’ mandate. Next Generation CHROs will display organization leadership through governance, executive compensation and employee relationships. And most importantly, they will emerge as authentic, influentialorganizationalleaders.

PROGRAMME FEEThe programme fee covers all instruction during the three modules; required books and other pedagogical materials including self-learning materials. Programme fee includes the boarding and lodging charges at Bangalore.

Prof VasanthiOrganizational Behaviour & Human Resources Management

Vasanthi Srinivasan is Professor in the area of Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources Management and the Chairperson, Alumni Relations.

Institute of Management Bangalore. She was the ICCR Chair Professor of Corporate Responsibility and Governance at the HHL School of Management, Leipzig, Germany in 2012-2013. Her areas of interest are women in management and Boards, generational diversity, HRM in rapid growth organizations and ethics and HRM in healthcare in India.

She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from XLRI Jamshedpur, and a Fellow in Management from the Indian Institute of Management

Bangalore. Prior to joining IIMB, she worked at wipro Limited and The P&P Group, a Bangalore- based boutique consultingfirm.ShewasaBritishCouncilVisitingScholaratthe International Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility at the Nottingham University Business School. As a HRM faculty, she has been involved in several research and consulting projects with the industry.

Vasanthi is currently on the board of the NHRD Network, Bangalore Chapter; a member of the India Leadership Team of Globethics.net and is also on the Board of Directors of “Enable India”, “Svaraj” and “Fourth wave Foundation”. She runs a website www,teachcsr.com, which is intended to enable faculty in business schools to mainstream teaching corporate responsibility. She has several Publications in both International and national Journals.

Anandorup GhosePartner, AonEmerging MarketsHuman Capital Solutions

Anandorup Ghose leads the Performance, Rewards and Organization Consulting Practice for Aon Consulting India. Prior to being appointed in this role, Anandorup headed Aon’s executive compensation and governance practice for South Asia along with General Industry Compensation for India covering Consumer, Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing & Services industries. He has worked extensively with clients in theregiononstructuringanddefiningexecutivecompensationstructures across a wide variety of industries.

Anandorup has also worked with clients in the Middle East, AsiaPacificandIndiaintheareasofexecutivecompensationdesign and benchmarking, long term incentive plan design, sales incentive plan design, governance structure definition,remuneration committee advisory, performance planning and scorecard design etc. He has managed multi-year change engagements with clients in India as well as the Middle East, and has worked on some large scale merger integration work with clientsin the region.

He regularly speaks on key themes like executive compensation, organization effectiveness and people performance at forums like AIMA, FICCI, CII, NHRD and writes regularly on HR topics in print and digital media platforms such as Business Today, Forbes,PeopleMatters,BusinessInsider,HuffingtonPostetc.

Prior to joining Aon, Anandorup worked with ICICI Bank in India as a senior manager in its international banking strategy team. He has also worked with Ernst & young in its transaction advisory services business and has significant experience inbusiness valuations and supporting M&A transactions.
