Kenya – Turkey Food Forum Highlights
• As part of the “Guest Country Project” this year,WorldFood Istanbul hosted Kenya, the mosteconomically developed country of Eastern Africawith strong commercial links where agriculturalsector makes up 27% of the economy.
• “Kenya – Turkey Food Forum” which was organizedin partnership by DEIK Turkey and Africa BusinessCouncils on the second day of the exhibition. Buyersdelegation from Africa region and Kenya met withrepresentatives of exhibitors at the BusinessMeetings’ events.
• This forum contributed to the efforts for furtherdeveloping of food commerce between Turkey andKenya, and for supporting the exports of Turkishfood producers.
