Big Masthead is placed at the top of the paper as this is the convention that most newspapers follow. This is more common in tabloid style papers such as the London Lite. Heading will be in two different fonts as I feel give it a more modern contemporary edge.

free papers.This will be a mini story compared to the main story above. I will make sure it is linked in the same genre so that my readers will know what context my newspaper will involve.

Image featured is more prominent than text on the front page. This fits the conventions of a tabloid style free newspaper as it creates a more entertaining look about it and people will be more inclined to read it.

There will be Columns fitting into the conventions of the tabloid layout.

Contents of the paper, which fits the conventions however given an alternative name linking to the subject matter of the paper.

A section written from the Editor to the readers, This is quite unconventional; of a newspaper but I felt this would give it a more modern feel and help appeal more to my target audience.

Another similar story more on local gossip E.g. a new store opened in The Glades and hot trends to look out for.

Main story will be featured as the central point of the page these are usually found on pages 2,3, or 4 but I decided this way people are reading the hottest news first instead of the more smaller stories.
