Sparkbrook Wander-ers have now been tak-en over by new man-ager Sojib Ahmed in hope to win the Shapla League season this year. Last year, was a down-hill for Sparkbrook Wan-derers as they came 12th in the Premiership table putting them in the Divi-sion 1 table this season. With the new manage-ment and organisation and restructing the whole team it is believed that they have established a perfect mix of experience and youth in the squad. It seems that this year the determination is infact high to win the cup.The club rivals are the Sparkhill Rang-ers after kicking Sparkbrook Wanderers out of the season last year which shat-tered their dreams of winning the cup. There have been other disputes stated

by the manager that Sparkhill Rang-ers in fact tried to steal players from Sparkbrook Wanderers however their team know where their loyalty lies. There have been new recruitment to theteam like Saiful Islam and Luke Shah

who are studying A levels at college. At the training ground they both showed excellent enthusiasm and skill for the sport. Sojib Ahmed commented that ‘Luke Shah is one of our secret weapons’. TURN TO PAGE 51
