Science Fair: The science fair is on November 4th, 2015 Start researching for your project now!

What We’re Learning:Reading: “The first 20 days” Students will learn about their reading interests, reasons for choosing books and what to do when they are having trouble understanding what they are reading

Writing: Students will be writing their own story (any genre they choose) while learning and using using the steps of the writing process

Math: Students will understand how to subtract any pair of two-digit numbers, choosing an appropriate strategy, how to check subtraction by adding the answer to the smaller number in the original calculation, how to subtract a two-digit number from a three-digit number

Science: Students will understand and explain the role of drugs as medicine and Know that matter can be solid, liquid or gas

Social Studies: Students will be able to place information in proper sequence (chronological), define and give examples of key vocabulary words, terms and concepts and explain the relevance of historical personalities

Health: Students will learn students will learn about the different layers of your skin and the proper ways to care for your skin and hair
