Japanese Kanto Festival

Hello! My name is Mara, and I come from South Korea! I graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in Management and Marketing at Curtin University. It has helped me a lot in getting a job at Stanley College.

In Korea, I worked tirelessly as a Shoe Merchandiser for 7 years and wanted a change in my life, which led me in coming to Perth.

I always love what I do and really like to interact with new people in new environments. After graduating from Curtin University, my first job was as a hotel receptionist in Perth city which allowed me to meet many different people from all walks of life. I am new to Stanley College, being a little over a month now, and I realised this is the best place to meet new people and experience their cultures.

Some of you may already know that I am currently based in the Francis Street Campus, so please feel welcome to come and say hello to me!
