The teachers and children remembered Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, our first
Prime Minister, and celebrated the love that he had for all children with a
host of fun-filled activities. The celebrations began with a prayer
conducted by the teachers. It was a day wherein fun and frolic dominated, after the grind and rigour of academics in the
morning. The teachers presented a light-hearted assembly dedicated to their students. They entertained the students
with a brain-teasing quiz, a thought for the day, a hilarious mime
act. So the day was with the theme “With love from teachers to
students”.

In times when there is a dire need of waste management
and cleanliness, it is essential to awaken the youth towards
recycling and reusing materials that otherwise contribute
to wastage. The students of the primary wing at BTS
brought plastic bottles, old photo frames, CD's, bangles,
newspapers etc. to repurpose them into something new
and creative. This activity was thoroughly enjoyed by the
students as it allowed them to come up with innovative
ideas. The essence of making "best out of waste"
empowered them to utilize scrap to create beautiful as well
as useful items to decorate their homes and school
campus.
