We are all about the ride, the passion, the brotherhood, the road, the fun, and the whole experience from start to end. Riyadh Chapter is a unique chapter full of activities, weekly rides, family events, charities, and is home for some of the most skilled riders in the region. Three things give this chapter the edge: 1. Officers that bring this chapter to life by passionately providing from the heart, and totally committed to their dream. They are a family of brothers that use a great deal of their family time and own private life to dispense all their efforts providing a quality experience for all of us. 2. A dedicated, skilled, and highly motivated Road Team headed by a competent Head Road Captain, and his proficient assistant Lead Road Captain, lead this chapter into rallies, rides, events, and everything that is safe and fun. 3. Members that uniquely care about each other and especially about their chapter. A large number of them are highly skilled riders and have even achieved Top Gun levels. They are known amongst all their H.O.G. brothers in the region and loved by all of them. I am honored to be amongst such a wonderful and enthusiastic group of fantastic brothers and friends. I’ve said it before, and 4 years later, nothing has changed. I consider myself the luckiest chapter director in the world. The officers, road team, and chapter members raise this chapter to high levels and beyond. I would like to urge all new members to engage and indulge themselves in all the great fun, and remind them all to renew their HOG and Local membership. Our membership officer is a terrific, friendly, and professional person that would extend all his abilities to support and provide assistance to anyone in need. So don’t hesitate to contact him: [email protected]. Although I love my annual package and I wear my pins and patches with pride, it is more important to understand that you belong to a larger picture that completes this great chapter and would always make you proud. Looking forward to seeing you all on the road, safe and proud. Best Regards Marwan H. KENANAH Director

Dear HOG members, Allow me to start this editorial by offering our deep condolences to the family and friends of the late Hussein Al Mteiry, may his soul rest in peace, urge our fellow motorcyclists to ride cautiously and defensively, spread awareness campaigns among motorists, and pray that Allah Almighty engulfs us in His protection and mercy. For the 6th time in a row, the H.O.G.® Riyadh Chapter took part in one of the most successful Harley Davidson MENA events which is the 6th Saudi Rally in Jeddah. Urban riding puts its own set of demands on a motorcycle engine. The city grid is no easy-riding, wide open, winding road with beautiful vistas as far as the eye can see. It’s a moving mass of stop and go sheet metal with heat waves rising off the pavement on most days. You need an engine built to conquer it. The new Revolution X™ engine is 749 cubic centimeters of authentic, liquid-cooled, custom Harley-Davidson® motorcycle built for urban streets. Liquid cooling means it maintains temperature and performance. Count on smooth response to the progressive throttle when you call on the Harley-Davidson Street™ 750 motorcycle to get you through any hole that opens up in front of you. But we didn’t just build this engine to get you from here to there. This is a Harley-Davidson® engine. We built it to satisfy. 60 degree cylinders. 4 valves per head. Plenty of low-end torque. What it all means in laymen’s terms is that you can feel the strength and character of the engine at the RPM ranges you find yourself riding in most often on city streets. Get in the saddle, fire up the Revolution X™ engine, put the bike into gear and go. You’ll understand.
