CLUBFOOT AWARENESS CAMPAIGN

Project Kadam by Enactus St. Stephen's College

 was st ar ted wi th the intent ion to make a

difference in the lives of the differently abled.

Since its inception, they have been successful in

curing over 1500 children afflicted from Clubfoot

and have provided a sustainable means of

livelihood to 9 differently abled individuals.th

 January 2016, witnessed a PAN India Clubfoot

awareness Campaign where over 40 colleges

across 7 cities released lanterns in the air at 6 pm.

This initiative saw the participation of over 400

students, and also attracted the much required

media attention that Clubfoot deserves.

GLOBAL CEO VISIT

It was after four years that Enactus Worldwide

Global CEO, Dr Alvin Rohr visited India. Post

Celebrating our partnership and fruitful

discussions with some of our Platinum sponsors

like KPMG, TATA Motors, Mahindra and Board

of Directors like Ms Mini Menon, Mr. Paresh

Sukhtankar, Mr. Ravikant , Alvin interacted with

some of the top teams of Enactus India. Our

Chairman , Mr Richard Rekhy,also the CEO o

KPMG India , invited top echelons of various

companies l ike Mc Donald 's , Abbot t

Healthcare, Monster.com, Yatra.com, DCM

Shriram etc. for Breakfast sessions at Mumbai

and Delhi followed by team presentations by

some of our top colleges. Building an

 Accelerator model by encouraging teams to

focus on innovation and research to impact

lives and aim to align every business mode

 with the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals

 were the main areas of focus.

STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAM AT TOMSK

UNIVERSITY, RUSSIA

Six Students of Enactus India, after a rigorous

screening process were selected for an Exchangeth

Program at Tomsk University, Russia from 14th

February 2016 to 24 February 2016 .International

 Winter School for Social Entrepreneurship is a

platform for Enactus teams worldwide to come

together and create a better world by providing an

innovative solution for common problems globally

 with the help of sustainable business models. The

trip to International Winter School was a rewarding

experience which helped students understand the

 worl d s c e na r io s , t h e es s e nc e o f s oc ia l

entrepreurship and how individuals and teams

could strive to work towards a better world. The

essential learning of the Program was to make

students realize the importance of Need

 Assessment, Innovation and Research for any

project's ideation and formulation.

INTERACTION WITH MR VENKATESHKINI

CEO OF COCA COLA INDIA

On 10th February 2016, Mr. Venkatesh Kini, the

CEO of Coca Cola, India, interacted with over

300 Enactus students and Faculty members at

Loyola College, Chennai. The event moderatedby Richa Anirudh, was an interactive session,

 where Mr. Kini inspired students to become

young entrepreneurs. Quoting real life

examples, his real life narration was an

epitome of an inspiring story of a successful

businessman and a journey explaining all the

quintessential elements one needs to start up

His talk was followed by a one on one interface

 with all faculty advisors and the coke team overLuncheon at ITC Grand Chola.

MAHINDRA – ENACTUS INDIA PARTNERSHIP

thMarch 5 2016, CSR team of Mahindra and team

Enactus got together to celebrate 2 years of their

successful partnership. In concurrence with the

Make in India campaign and other CSR policies of

Mahindra, we hope to establish a prolific

relationship with Mahindra and impact as many

lives directly and indirectly.

 

MARKETING TRAINING SESSIONS AND PRE

TRAINING SESSIONS ON HSBC BUSINESS CASE

COMPETITION 2016

In an attempt to nurture students , especially the

new recruits of the various Enactus Teams , PAN

India training sessions on Marketing and Research ,

Business Analytics, Psychological Behaviour (in

association with Seek Spark), were taken on a PAN

India basis, covering Mumbai , Pune , Chennai and

New Delhi. To trickle the information to the entire

network of 4000 students, Team Enactus is working

on revamping and creating a knowledge portal,

 where students can read bl ogs/ uploaded

presentations etc.

 WOMEN ENTREPRENEURSHIP SUMMIT AT

MIRANDA HOUSE

Enactus Miranda House organised a talk on women

entrepreneurship, with Ms Priyanka Gill, Founder of

POPxo and Ms Niharika Bhatia, Program and Marketing-

Communications Head at Enactus India (also an alumni

and Co-Founder of Enactus Miranda House, DU) as the

keynote speakers. While students had an eventful

discussion with Priyanka that helped in clarifying a lot o

their doubts on starting up, digital marketing and how to

attract investors, Niharika shared her personal

experience as an Enactus entrepreneur and further

talked about how one needs to establish equality

between men and women at the work place. She quoted

 various eminent personalities like Sheryl Sandberg

IndraNooyi in her speech.
