Friday 6 Waitangi Day

RAFTING On Friday the Year 6 children had so much fun rafting. Mr Thorn got dunked and parents got pulled in and children got thrown in. Basically everyone got wet. Going down the rapids and jumping off the rock was also fun. Rafting was the best. By: Eleanor Quirey

TEE BALL I was away for the team's last game and have had help from Tetae Stanley and Craig Simpson taking the last few practices. At the game this week I was very impressed at how much all the players have improved and think they had their best game ever. This

also showed in the results winning 22-21. We played this team in our second game of the season and lost 22-12. Well done! - Mrs Hay

Player of the day - Malachai Stanley for some great fielding on 3rd base, taking 3 outs and more confidence in batting and base running.

Christmas Gifts on the Taieri

The Mosgiel Round Table, and the Mosgiel Community Food Bank, supported by BNZ Mosgiel and The Warehouse Mosgiel, wish to give kids, who may otherwise go without, some joy on Christmas morning.

At the Mosgiel BNZ, you will find a tree with cards and stickers attached. On the sticker there will be the details of a child in need this Christmas. Please place this sticker on your wrapped present.

By purchasing a gift for the boy or girl shown, and placing it under the tree at the Mosgiel BNZ by 4.30pm Monday 15th December, we will ensure it is matched to the child.

To help make this a reality, The Warehouse Mosgiel has come to the party, and if you present the sticker, a 30% discount will be applied to the full retail price, for any present up to $50 in full retail value.

Any questions, please contact Grant Gibson on 0275 999 943. Thank you again for bringing some Christmas spirit to the Taieri!
