Club Mission

Every Toastmasters club shares the same mission, clearly defined in the following mission state-ment:

We provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.

Through this mission, each Toastmaster gains a clear understanding of the club's purpose, and the organization as a whole benefits from a shared set of values and goals.

PRESIDENT

2013-14

It gives me immense pleasure to serve the

NMC Community Club family for the second

time as President for the year 2013 – 2014. I wish

to thank all our club members for expressing

their confidence in me and trusting my ability

to lead the club in the right direction to a

greater height. I am also equally eager and

excited to lead an experienced team of club

officers and thank them for their commitment

to support me in turning this club into a high

performing club in the following year.

To have a successful quality club meeting it is very important for all the members to attend the meeting

regularly and participate by taking up any “small” or “big” roles. Only then the meeting can be considered

as a “quality” meeting. During the remaining 24 meetings in this year, I will focus on Quality club meetings

by encouraging members to deliver their quality speeches based on the Communication manual and also

focus on to complete the Leadership projects from Leadership manual by taking up any roles that are

available. The members’ progress chart will be displayed during the club meetings so they can see how

well they are progressing on their Communication and Leadership tracks. In order to encourage members

to take up various roles during club meetings, I have restarted the 76 point program for the members. In this

program, every member will earn some points for their various roles they play in within or outside our club.

At the end of the year, the member who will earn the highest points will be recognized with

“Toastmaster of the Year” award.

I am excited about the release of the first newsletter of our club this year, “NMC Community Times”. A lot of

effort has been put together by a team of members under the able leadership of our dedicated

VP PR TM Ashit Korgaokar. It’s an excellent opportunity for all of us to showcase the quality our club to the

outside world through this newsletter and stand by our tagline “Communicate to Make a Difference”.

Besides, I am sure that this newsletter will provide a wealth of information to our members as well as the

Toastmasters community.

With this note, I take this opportunity to wish all the club members a wonderful Toastmasters year ahead.

Together we can achieve the success we have been dreaming of, to make NMC Community Chapter

Club the best club in UAE.

The journey of toastmasters started last year when my wife joined one of the clubs. She gave me many

positive vibes about toastmasters. Because, I had a very strong DESIRE to overcome the fear of public

speaking in a structured way, I took a DECISION to join the NMC Toastmaster club. I approached TM Santosh

Shetty and came to one of the meeting as a guest. The very first day, I felt the warmth of all the other mem-

bers, there was a genuine feeling of helping from the entire senior members in the club. On the first day it-

self, I decided I will join. Thus my journey began; the club has helped me in polishing my skills as a speaker

and as a competent leader to organize.

It has changed my life in 2 Aspects:

Personally… To do projects we have to read lot. Through that, we will gain knowledge. By giving speeches

consistently, we can correct our mistakes with the help of, our excellent evaluators. Apart from that, we also

learn time management and leadership skills

Professionally… Professionally, it has given me a very good boost to show my leadership skills of speaking in

front of clients, to be clear, precise and to manage time. It has added lot of confidence in the way I present

my subject, whether it is to the seniors or my subordinates.

Because of my Proactive nature, I took up the role of Treasurer in our club in the very first year. It was a very

good experience, enough though I have mastery on this subject due to my profession of finance it added

value to the club. This continued for the last whole year, and presently I took up the challenge of being Vice

President Education. The role of VP Education has just sunk in, the role is very demanding, as I am responsible

to see that the education goals of our members are monitored and I give the push to see that all the mem-

bers achieve their goals. Moreover, it is the responsibility to see that meetings are held with the requisite

speakers and members, the idea of pushing members to achieve their educational goals, keeps me very

much interested about this present job.

To conclude, I strongly believe that, to achieve something you must be with the right people. The people

around you must be very positive, supportive and have a lot of initiative. If you are with pessimistic people,

you will never grow. Even if you want to improve yourself, the people around you will not encourage you.

Thus when you are with NMC Community Toastmasters Club, you know that you at the right place.

When I was in school, I remember my parents told me to be serious why so that I can get into a

good college. When I reached college, I was again told by them to be serious why so that I get

good grades and get a good job in return. When I started working, parents plus my boss told me to

be serious again why so that I can get a promotion. School was done college was done promotion

was also done but advises on being SERIOUS was not done. Yet again when I got settled with work

was told to be serious (and this time it was by most of my loved ones) serious in my relationship why

so that I can win over a partner for life. I felt like the word SERIOUS was my pet name it was never

taken off me.

Today after having more than 14+ years of work experience...after entering the late 30’s, Dear

Toastmasters I have realized that in order to be successful in life both in my professional life and

personal life I need not be serious all I need to be and which I think is very vital is to be

SINCERE….Sincere at work with my job/employees/stake holders and sincere with my relationships

my family/friends etc.

My parents the most experienced the most matured people back then were right but not

completely right. I need to be serious to be successful agree but in today’s world in order to be

happy is being successful enough the answer according to me is NO. I will be happy only if I have a

balanced successful life.

They will never be the same. You must understand that and strive for “BALANCE IN YOUR LIFE"

Work-Life Balance does not mean an equal balance. Trying to schedule an equal number of hours

for each of your various work and personal activities is usually unrewarding and unrealistic. Life is

and should be more fluid than that.

Your best individual work-life balance will vary over time, often on a daily basis. The right balance

for you today will probably be different for you tomorrow. The right balances for you when you are

single will be different when you marry, or if you have children; when you start a new career versus

when you are nearing retirement.

Toastmasters stop looking outside it’s up to us as individual to take control and responsibility for the

types of life we want to lead if we don’t design our life someone else will design it for you and you

may not like their idea of balance.

Go back home look at your family and ask yourself have you given them and yourself the best of

your time, if yes than sleep peacefully if no than its time to wake up and start fresh it’s never too

late to start a new beginning.

First of all I would like to thanks TM Vikas, who invited and asked me to join toastmasters club, one day

when I was on my way to Dubai for a business meeting , he called me to attend the Toastmaster’s

meeting, I was completely un aware about it till I came.

During the meeting I noticed the toastmasters mission and being a Sales Manager, I thought it could be

a good platform to improve the communication and leadership skills, so I immediately joined

NMC community chapter club.

But DTAC 2013, was an unforgettable experience to be cherished in my Journey of Toastmasters. Since

held in Dubai – UAE it was more special and enjoyable.

Being a new member I never felt what the Toastmasters is like, until I saw a gathering of hundreds of

Toastmasters from seven countries in the Middle East, which includes Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar,

UAE, Jordan and Lebanon.

It was wonderful to watch the Best Speakers and Leaders on this platform. I met lot of Toastmasters from

different Clubs, Areas, Divisions and Countries. I was lucky to watch the District Officials in action and

also happen to witness the District Excom and District Elections with complete Parliamentarian Process.

Apart from the International speech , table topics, evaluation and humorous speech competitions, it

was also worth watching the Champion Speaker Kwong Yue Yang who won Second-place in the

Toastmasters International Convention 2011. there were Educational Sessions in line and was worth

watching them.

The Impact of DTAC was a turning point for me to decided to be a Competent Communicator and

Leader. After discussing with Senior Toastamsters who advised me that if you have to learn Swimming

you need to jump into the water. You cannot sit at the shore and learn Swimming. They advised me

stay connected with the Club and to take Officers role. So I took the role of secretary of the Club. I hope

that I will have a wonderful journey ahead in the Toastmasters.

Decided to join TM to improve my communication and leadership skills, as well as to deliver these qualities to

the society. I appreciate the club's friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and the members supportive ap-

proach to new comers. I like the way the seniors accept the new comers. Through Toastmaster, I will work to

become a better listener, a better speaker and a better leader too. NMC Toastmaster community is different

from others of their humanitarian helps. My Seniors and Mentor Suggested to me to take up the role of

Sergant At Arms and I willing took up the role.

Sergant At Arms

2013-14

Treasurer for a second time.

As the treasurer I am responsible for the club financial policies, procedures and controls.

I am responsible for registering new member and pay membership renewal dues to TMI headquarters

and keeping timely accurate and up-to-date financial records for the club.

Also responsible for collecting club dues from the member, pay recurring bills such as meeting venue

and meals as authorized by the executive committee.

The financial position of the club has not been so good for the last few years in spite of being given a

discount of 50% on venue and meals for the meeting by NMC group, possibly due to lower membership

fees. This year under the able guidance of senior toastmasters who form the executive committee I

expect the club to be in good financial state. We have already seen the difference from the first

meeting, the improvement in quality and quantity of the members and expect much more changes in

the months to come. So friends, together lets make a difference

Under the caption "Can you think of a CAREER which does not require COMMUNICATION ‘Improve Your Communication Skills!

Join Toastmasters'' NMC Community Chapter Toastmasters Club with their mission "Communicate To Make Difference" held its mem-

bership drive campaign meeting on 26th October at Foodlands Restaurant, Royal Hall, Air Port Road, Abu Dhabi.

I was one of the Guest and by end of the Meeting I decided to join the Toastmasters and NMC Community Chapter Club. My

Journey in Toastmasters started from that day and still continues.

I was officially enroll in the Club on 01 Dec 2009 and with in a span of 2 months to be precise on 30 Jan 2010, Then President

of the club TM Ashit Korgaokar requested to take the Club Officers Position of VP Public Relations. So I was into the Toastmasters and

the Club during the start of the Journey.

After 5 months, in the year 2010-11, I took the position of VP Education for the complete year. I started working on Club

Website, created the Facebook Page for the Club and started tracking the Club Portal on TMI. We competed for the Best Website in

DTAC 2011 held in Jordan, and we won the Platinum Web Byte Award ( Best Club Website ) out of 8 Countries. It was like a dream

come true and hard work and dedication started paying off.

Then come the year 2011-12, I move forward and took the position of President. It was a unique experience and will cherish

for the rest of my Life. The club’s struggle to survive in the year 2009 was changing and the club was growing to its fullest . The club

presence could be felt in the Area, Division and even in the District. This year we competed for the following Awards :

Platinum Web Byte Award - Connected Social Media ( Facebook )

And this year we won 3 Award at DTAC 2012 held in Bahrain

Best Website - Connected Social Media ( Facebook ) and

Education Award for Achieving the DCP Points.

I like to thank the Senior Toastmasters for their trust and continued support. The Club provided me with plenty of opportunities which

led me to take the liberty to explore and innovate things.

To sum up “I took the road less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.”

And as Joh F Kennedy said “One person can make a difference, and everyone should try.”

For the young Toastmasters and Club Members, I will wrap up my journey in Toastmasters with a quote of Mahat-

ma Gandhi : “It's the action, not the fruit of the action, that's important. You have to do the right thing. It may not

be in your power, may not be in your time, that there'll be any fruit. But that doesn't

mean you stop doing the right thing. You may never know what results come from your action.

But if you do nothing, there will be no result.”

In all my years of Toastmasters, I have been fortunate to witness some of the most profound speakers in the

chapters I belong to, as well as the contests I have attended. Interacting with such eminent speakers has

given me a wonderful exposure to the world of public speaking.

Much like how I function in life, because of these interactions, I have been able to classify the Toastmasters

community into sub groups allowing me to better understand them, their strengths, weaknesses,

opportunities and fears. This exercise has helped me greatly in self-reflection on where I am, where I want to

be and how I intend to get there.

I always meet three varieties of people in Toastmasters

The 1st variety: The Prepared Speakers

People in this profile love prepared speeches. They love the comfort of planning and practicing before

delivering their thoughts, ideas, perspective and message. The need time to organize their thoughts and

master their speech. However, the fluency of Impromptu speaking and English may not come as easy as for

the latter variety. With a lot more practice, they are capable to master it as well as they master their fears

on prepared speeches. The Prepared Speakers successfully work and live towards self -improvement and

perfecting themselves.

The 2nd variety: The Impulsive Speakers

People in this profile do not like preparation time much. They are comfortable with not planning and

practicing their words and movements. They enjoy short term butterflies that are found in the Table Topics

section or the Evaluations section. They get their confidence from these sessions and usually master them

well. However, ask them to do a prepared speech, and they go missing for a couple of meetings! This

variety needs to focus on preparing their thoughts and extending their thoughts and gestures in a planned

manner. A common way of mastering into prepared speeches for them is reducing their pace of speaking

and remembering their extended thoughts on a subject in proper chronology and with an effective

delivery. The Impulsive Speakers are motivated by rewards and recognition in their journey towards

self-improvement.

The 3rd variety: The Master Speakers

This is a rare breed of Toastmasters. Eventually, you will see them enjoy participating in all sections of the

Toastmasters competition! These speakers compete with themselves, and push themselves further because

of either their own drive or other peoples peer pressure. They are driven individuals who have passed the

stage of stage fright, and in fact, focus on mastering the stage; their friend, their foe, their home.

I find myself to be The Impulsive Speaker, and I am very happy remaining in this variant. However, knowing

my gaps, I have taken it on myself to master the first variety too, and become the Prepared Speaker,

whereby I will be able to then challenge myself, push myself even further, in the journey towards

self-learning, self-development and self-realization.

Ramadan is on the ninth month of the Islamic year. It is believed that the month of Ramadan was that of

which Muhammad received the first words of Allah the Qur’an. On the evening of the 27th day of the month,

muslims celebrate the Laylat-al-Qadr (the Night of power ). The Arabic word for fasting is sawm which

means to refrain from food, drinks and sexual activities from dawn to dusk. Not only that a person has to

even refrain from hearting anyone by means of words or deeds.

During Ramadan it is common for muslims to go to the Masjid and spend several hours praying and studying

Quran. In addition to the five prayers, during Ramadan Muslims recite a special prayer called the TA-

RAWEEH prayer. The length of this prayer is usually an hour. Some spend the entire night in prayer.

When the fast ends ( the first day of the month of Shawwal ) Eid is celebrated and the celebration continue

for three days The Eid is called EID-AL-FITR ( The feast of Fast Breaking ). The public holiday will be on

1st and 2nd Day Gifts are ex for changed. Friends and family gather to pray in congregation and for large

meals. In some cities fairs are held to celebrate the end of the fast of Ramadan.

GRAND IFTAR AT TM AYUB RESIDENCE

Ramadan Kareem is a greeting in the

Arabic language that is used to wish happiness

during the start of the holy month of Ramadan.

The word Kareem means Generous.

Asian also say Ramadan Mubarak.

MOMENTS OF TRANSITION

I have always loved these opportunities to develop and express myself, I have never over-

come the nerves that accompany them. Apparently, I’ve learned to hide it well. But, for me

it isn't enough to look calm. I want to actually be calm when I deliver a speech. So, when

my neighbor Mr Praveen Rao recommended joining Toastmaster’s International. With-

out a second thought I immediately joined the NMC Community Toastmaster’s Club.

Toastmasters evaluate our speaking skills which brings a different perspective on the strengths and

weaknesses of our speech. There is more to speaking and also listening than just giving a regular

speech and I realized that there is so much I can learn from our diverse group of members.

I think with Toastmasters there are always new challenges.

MTM MAHI RAI

NMC Community Chapter has members from all walk of life.

Members ensures that they invite guests to each meetings and

they are made comfortable to make the Transition from guest to

member . .

I attend one of the meetings of toastmasters as a guest and was really

amazed to see the enthusiasm in each person of the club.

I was introduced to toastmasters by Ms. Seema Shetty and she also

informed me that it's one such platform where learning never ends.

As a member of toastmasters, I want to achive more proficiency in skills of

drafting, presentation and other soft skills. Since I am fresher at my job,

toastmaster will definitely add more value for my progress.

As i have expressed in my first visit to NMC community family, i have been introduced to TM Club by

Mr. Kapil Suri, who is with Toast Master's club for quite long.I am very happy to be the part of NMC

Community family, and i could get to see the care and bonding which was present in the club, and i

felt it was rightly named as NMC Community "Family" as i could see more of a family atmosphere

there..!!

Purpose of my joining to the Club is to be a part of the skilled community, and to develop my

Interpersonal and social skills as well as to obtain a new set of good friends where i saw

much of cross learning was taking place..!!Thanks for accepting me as a new member

of the family and would for sure justify my presence in our Community family..

Moments of Knowledge.

An Extract from TMI site.

Objectives of first ten projects. You look at the newly-distributed schedule for the upcoming month’s meetings and there it is...your name listed under

“Speaker.” While you’re eager to complete the manual and achieve the coveted CC, you find yourself

wondering, What am I going to talk about this time?

Look no further than your own life experiences. After all, that’s how we begin our Toastmasters journey

– talking about yourself in our Ice Breaker speech. I suggest you continue down that path throughout the

entire manual. Too egotistical, you say? Too “all about me?” Afraid others will be bored? Not if it’s done

with the audience in mind.

Let’s look at each project, and see how you can use your experiences, skills or interests to educate the

audience, while also letting them get to know you better:

1. Ice Breaker (Objectives: Discover strengths and weaknesses of speaking.)

We already know that the Ice Breaker is an opportunity to give the audience a brief overview of your life, so they get to know

you early on. While a mini-bio from childhood to the present is often the chosen format, you might also try some other

options. How about describing the “inner you” – your philosophies, beliefs, values and goals. Or perhaps you’ll choose to

focus on a life-changing event that guided your journey so far. There are lots of ways to let your audience get to know you. Be

creative in how you present it.

2. Organize Your Speech (Objectives: Supporting material, transitions, strong opening and closing statements.)

This project is broad enough to give you lots of options for speech material. Using your life’s experience as a basis, consider

some of the following topics: Your current or past jobs, military experience, organizations you’ve volunteered on or been part

of, hobbies, or areas of expertise you might have. Use the speech to explain how you became interested in the subject, how

you’ve gained your knowledge of it, and what you want to do in the future along these lines.

3. Get to the Point (Objectives: Inform, persuade, entertain, inspire, narrow down broad purpose into more specific one.)

This project, too, is broad enough to allow for lots of topics. Since you are talking about your life, discuss an issue that’s

important to you and has influenced your life somehow. Perhaps it’s the importance of your college education, or the impact

of having served in the military. Or maybe you’ve raised a child with special needs, or been the main caregiver for a parent

with Alzheimer’s disease. Any of these would meet one or more of the objectives to inform, persuade, entertain or inspire.

4. How to Say It (Objectives: Select the right words, eliminate jargon, use rhetorical devices.)

This is the perfect project to tell about some of your favorite vacation spots; be sure to describe them vividly. Or describe your

emotions during a major event in your life – marriage, the birth of your child, or retiring from your job. Describe a special

person in your life, searching for just the right word to help everyone see and really know that person.

Page 16: Newsletter august 2013

NMC COMMUNITY TIMES.

MO MEN T S O F TR UTH

PAGE 16

Contd …..

5. Your Body Speaks (Objectives: Stance, movement, gestures, facial expressions, eye contact.)

In this project, choose an incident in your life that will allow you to move around a bit more than you have

in the past. Describe how you landed the 38-pound trout, your first time trying to hit a golf ball, or the

agonies you go through in your aerobics class. Put your whole body into it! Or try a speech where your

facial expressions do the talking – raised eyebrows, a smirk, or even the Bob Newhart blink, can all express

a multitude of emotions or attitudes.

6. Vocal Variety (Objectives: Use volume, pitch, rate, add meaning and interest, pauses.)

Did you teach your teenager to drive? Have you had a heart-to-heart talk with an aging parent? Did you

tell your boss what he could do with his job before you walked out? These are great opportunities to tell a

little about events in your life where passion, emotion or drama were involved. You can change your

voice for each part, or just use the varied inflections in your own voice as your emotions changed.

7. Research Your Topic (Objectives: use facts, examples and illustrations gathered from various sources

through research.)

This would be a great time to speak about a favorite relative. Research how your ancestors ended up

here. Bring photos of your grandparents and tell how they managed through the Depression. Tell about

an uncle’s experience in WWII or Vietnam, and include information about the political attitudes of the

era. Once you begin, the research will be fun, and you’ll be adding to your own life’s history by including

the history of your ancestors.

8. Get Comfortable with Visual Aids (Objectives: Select visual aids appropriate for message; use them

correctly and with confidence.)

While we normally associate visual aids with business meetings and seminars, their use can also be an

excellent way to demonstrate a hobby, skill or talent you enjoy. I’ve seen props used to demonstrate the

steps involved in building model ships, needlework techniques, food preparation, and scrapbooking.

Computer- based visuals can flash pictures of a favorite trip on the screen. A flip chart or whiteboard can

be used to list specific instructions for a craft or hobby that you enjoy.

9. Persuade with Power (Objectives: Use logic and emotion to appeal to audience; persuade them in

some way.)

What are you passionate about? What social causes do you believe in? With what organizations do you

volunteer? Any of these issues can educate an audience while also allowing you to explain your

viewpoints, beliefs, concerns and passions. If you can convince a member of your audience to get in-

volved in a specific cause, everyone wins!

10. Inspire Your Audience (Objectives: Challenge audience to achieve higher level of beliefs or

achievement; appeal to needs and emotions, use stories, anecdotes, quotes.)

Choose a special event in your life; maybe a challenge you’ve overcome, a successful venture, or

perhaps a life-changing decision you’ve made, and explain the importance of the event or what you

learned from it. Present it in a way that the audience can also learn those lessons or be inspired by your

experience.

Once you’ve completed the basic manual, you can apply the same format of life story to many of the

advanced manuals: The Entertaining Speaker, Speaking to Inform, Specialty Speeches, The Professional

Speaker, Persuasive Speaking, Storytelling, and Humorously Speaking could all be used effectively to share your life experiences.

A MoMENT : History of the Toastmasters October 1924, a group of men assembled by Dr. Ralph C. Smedley met in the basement of the YMCA in

Santa Ana, California, USA, forming a club “to afford practice and training in the art of public speaking

and in presiding over meetings, and to promote sociability and good fellowship amongst its members”.

The group took the name “Toastmasters”. Soon men and women in other communities and states asked

for permission and help to start their own Toastmasters clubs. By the year 1930, a federation was

necessary to co-ordinate activities of the many clubs and to provide a standard program. When a club

in New West-minister, British Columbia, Canada, expressed their interest in forming a Toastmasters club,

the group became known as the “Toastmasters International”.

Toastmasters International is a non-profit educational organization that teaches public speaking

and leadership skills through a worldwide network of meeting locations.

Headquartered in Rancho Santa Margarita, California, the organization has more

than 280,000 memberships in13,500 clubs in 116 countries.

Membership is affordable – a great value that can change your life that costs less than a dollar a day. Your

initial investment:

$20 New member fee

$36 Dues for six months, plus any club expenses. (Some clubs may charge a nominal fee in addition to the

regular dues for items such as meeting space and club supplies.)

Step 1:

Visit a Toastmasters club. You can find clubs near you by using the Meeting Locations tool.

Each group has a different personality, so you may wish to visit more than one. Your visit is free, and some

clubs may allow you to return as often as you like.

It’s easy to find a time and location that works for you. Meetings are held seven days a week, mornings,

afternoons and evenings. It’s a good idea to call or email in advance to confirm a group’s meeting time

and location.

Step 2:

At the meeting, ask the vice president membership for a membership application and fill it out.

Step 3:

Give your application and dues to the vice president membership at the club.

Once you are voted in by the existing membership, the club officer will send your application and fees to

Toastmasters’ World Headquarters.

Your New Member Kit should arrive in the mail in about two weeks (kits outside of the U.S. may take longer).

Important web sites and EMAILS

A Toastmasters meeting is a learn-by-doing workshop in which participants hone their speaking and

leadership skills in a no-pressure atmosphere.

There is no instructor in a Toastmasters meeting. Instead, members evaluate one another’s presentations.

This feedback process is a key part of the program’s success.

Meeting participants also give impromptu talks on assigned topics, conduct meetings and develop skills

related to timekeeping, grammar and parliamentary procedure.

Members learn communication skills by working in the Competent Communication manual, a series of 10

self-paced speaking assignments designed to instill a basic foundation in public speaking.

Members also learn leadership skills by taking on various meeting roles and working in the

Competent Leadership manual. In our learn-by-doing approach, we don't lecture members about

leadership skills; we give them responsibilities and mentoring to help. Then we ask them to lead.

“ Change is Life” with out change there is no realization , no understanding and no surprises, hence no

progress.

I implemented the above quote into my life style. One of the apex decision I took was to join

Toastmasters where I implemented the quote in the right direction. Toastmasters provided me the plat-

form where I confidently took those steps of change's. Changes took place when I took up the Com-

petent Communication Track making me a confident speaker. Changes took place when I took up

the Leadership Track by taking up Officers / Couch / Mentor roles making me into a responsible and

dedicated Toastmaster.

Enhancing and developing qualities which I had and initializing some which I did not , and would like

to master them. The unique thing about toastmasters is that there is and will always be someone who

will support and help you in your journey.

Taking up as the Vice President Public Relation ( VP.PR ) is going to help me too develop those qualities

which I do not possess like being creative and exposure. Normally three of four newsletter are to be

released by the Club each year projecting the activities by the club and its members. I have decided

to release four or five newsletters with this particular one being a SPECIAL. Moments of truth the theme

which I kept is released in the month of August due to a main reason

This newsletter will act as a transparent see thru glass all year round giving information about the club

and its officers and can be a informative to any guests who visit the club. This newsletter will have all

the information the guest or the new members want to have right from Toastmasters International to the

Club Meetings.

I hope to do my best and develop both, my qualities as VP.PR and help in the club activities. I have

enjoyed the process in preparing this Newsletter, hope you enjoy reading it. I see one of my goals

triggering as I know that

“ Success is a progressive realization of your worthwhile goals “ and this can come true with Change in

life.

Cheers !!!
