Due to prevailing situation regarding the threats posed by Corona Virus (COVID-19), student services including the functioning of LPU DE call centre have got hampered due to unavailability of staff members at University Campus. Students may not be getting prompt response to their queries through various communication channels including emails, web-chat, website forms, Relationship Management System on e-Connect etc. Students, however, can contact at the following alternative help-line numbers for any information from Monday to Saturday from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm:9501110403, 9501110431, 9888598708, 9878544444

Students are also advised to keep themselves updated by checking e-Connect announcements on regular basis.

With mammoth participation by thousands of distance and regular students of University, inaugural ceremony of 12th Annual Sports Meet of LPU witnessed energetic march past by various schools of university followed by captivating cultural extravaganza of sporting dances involving Zumba, Wushu, Yoga and Bhangra.

Rich medal haul by LPU DE student, Mr. Gurpreet Singh in 63rd National Shooting Championship at Bhopal LPU DE student, Arjuna Awardee and Olympian, Mr. Gurpreet Singh won gold medals in the standard pistol team event & centre fire pistol individual event and silver medals in standard pistol individual event & rapid-fire team event during 63rd National Shooting Championship held at Bhopal in January 2020.

LPU DE Students participated in Youth Vibe 2020Global Open Fest YouthVibe, a carnival of fun, games, technology and cultural shows, was held at LPU campus in the month of February, 2020 and witnessed the participation of brilliant youth talents from all across the country. LPU DE students actively participated in events like Bhangra, Face Painting, App Designing and Fashion Show etc. to showcase their talent.

LPU DE conducted workshops on topics like Effective Stage Handling Skills, Secrets of Effective Communication and Grammarian's World for professional and academic enhancement of Distance Education students at University campus. LPU conducted a special class on "Basic Computer Skills” on Saturday, 15th February 2020 that aimed to familiarize the DE students with basic concepts and techniques of Computing, Microsoft Windows, Computer operations & Information technology and to enhance their understanding of the most popular, current technologies used at home and in the workplace.

LPU, as a token of respect, felicitated each family of the martyr with Rs. 1.25 lakhs. We stand strong with all the families of our brave Soldiers and salute to their courage.
