Rooftop view of the project

Bahrain’s largest single rooftop solar system project for Gulf Pharmacy’s warehouse at Hidd Industrial Area has been initi-ated by Almoayyed Solar as scheduled.

The project is equipped with 705 high efficiency photovoltaic modules, 7 IOT (Internet of Things) based smart inverters and state of art fully automatic power control system. When operational, the system would generate 368,000kWh (units) or 10,672BHD worth of electricity every year, which would help Gulf Pharmacy save more than 25% on their electricity bills.

The contract was signed by Dr. Khalid B Al Awadhi, Chair-man & CEO of Gulf Corporation for Technology Holding and Mr. R. Srinivasan, CEO - International Operations, Almoayyed International Group at GCT office in Manama.

iWorld connect successfully completed the IT Infrastructure renovation work at The K-Hotel, operated by the Gulf Hotels Group. The upgra-dation work includes deploying IPTV which gives its customers reliable and interactive multi-me-dia services and adds to a superior experience. iWorld connect deployed HP Aruba Wireless So-lution across the hotel to provide seamless con-nectivity to its distinguished guests. IPTV from HEROApps provides a number of highly inte-grated solutions to build and deliver multimedia services over IP based networks from the basic standard definition (SD) to high definition (HD), to channel broadcasting and streaming video-on-demand (VoD), Web browsing and Interactive Theme support.

Training

Almoayyed Electrical & Instrumentation Systems has recently delivered a Gas Pressure Reduction & Metering Skid (GAS flow rate 1.01 MMSCFD, Design Pressure 1200 psig) to Bahrain Aluminium Extru-sion Co. (BALEXCO) for their Industrial production utilities in Bahrain. The project was completed in 14 months and met all ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 health and safety standards, test procedures and gas industry norms. AEIS scopes of work included – custom design engineering, material procurement, fabrication, installation, testing & commissioning services at site.

Almoayyed Computers and Social Insurance Organization (SIO) have signed an agreement to implement a Business Process Management (BPM) for SIO’s office.

Almoayyed computers successfully migrated GARMCO’s (Gulf Alumini-um Rolling Mill Co.) ICT Infrastructure workload to Amazon Web Ser-vices (AWS).

Almoayyed Ironmongery has signed a quarter million dinar project with Almoayyed Interiors for supply and installation of moveable wall system at Gulf Hotel Convention Center refurbishment project. DORMAKABA, USA made moveable wall will have 96 panels of 9 Mtr heights with 50db acoustic sound proof level. The project is expected to complete in 6 months’ time. Almoayyed Ironmongery has succesfully executed similar types of project at Grove Hotel, Swissbel Hotel, Frsan Palace Hotel and Toyota Training Centre.

Almoayyed Solar, an engineering division of Almoayyed International Group, commissioned Bahrain’s first net-metered rooftop PV systems.

The system was commissioned with 24 solar panels which will pro-duce 7.8 kilowatts of electricity. This translates to a total capacity of 12,500 units per year and is one third of the annual consumption by the household and the first-of-its-kind residential project in the King-dom of Bahrain.

The project was equipped with smart inverters and state-of-the-art fully automatic power control system. The solar panel prices have fallen sharply in the last 10 years which made the solar system more economical. Net-metering allows all house owners to generate their own electricity cleanly and efficiently. During the day, most solar customers produce more electricity than they consume; net metering allows them to ex-port that power to the grid and reduce their future electric bills.

EMBRACECORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

As a part of its EMBRACE initiative, Almoayyed International Group has organized CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) training for its employ-ees at its Headquarters in Mameer, Sitra in association with Royal Bahrain Hospital. The training includes providing an insight of cardiac arrest and the usage of CPR, First Aid and practical session in case of emergency medical attendance required prior to the medical team arrives. The purpose behind the training is to equip our our staff with the skillset required in an emergency situations during working hours or while they are home with their families and loved ones.

Marathon Relay

Almoayyed International Group has organized its annual inter division’s cricket tournament on 9th & 16th of March at BCL cricket ground, Bu-saiteen. Out of 12 divisions, Almoayyed Electrical and Instrumentation Systems (AEIS) won a nail-biting thriller against iWorld connect in a super over bowled in the history of the tournament. The best all-rounder of the tournament was Mr.Akshay Das from SITCO and Mr. Abraham Niju Mathew was the best batsman while Mr. Mohammed Aslam Beema was the best bowler of the tournament both represents team iWorld connect. The trophy was handed over by Mr. Ali Hassan Salman, Group General Manager, HR & Admin, Almoayyed International Group along with other company officials.
