Additionally, we will continue to look at
helping verbs and infected endings. Inwriting, we will be focusing on thestory critical setting in our storiesand how using a variety of senses todescribe our setting will help ourstories come to life.

Math FactsRead AloudMark has decided that it is time tomake a change and has been tryingto make friends and become moreengaged in school. Not everyone hasgreeted Marks efforts with openarms though. Some of his teachersare less than enthused as Markstruggles to become more involved.
Social StudiesLast week the children learned howdifferent mapping tools can teachthem about geography and the world.This week, we will focus ondirectionality and the compass rose.
ScienceOur mock rock dissection is complete.This week, we will observe crystals
and then next week perform ascratch test on various minerals.
