1.1 AGN Race numbers for 2015 Entries are available at the clubhouse on Tuesdays from 17:30 to 18:30. Alternatively, runners can also register at Run-A-Way Sport in Lynnwood. Membership fees for 2015:

Running vests - Only a few sizes are available at the club house. The bulk of the running vests are available at Run-A-Way Sport in Lynnwood.
1.2 Next league race – 14 February Bronkhorstspruit.
1.3 Ethical road running!!! The club reminds runners not to pirate during races, i.e. run without entering. This is a bad reflection on any club and unethical.
1.4 Magnolia Long run – Sunday 26 April 2015 – Confirmed. 15-45km. More details to follow.

Distance: Approximately 20km departing from the clubhouse.
Cost: R15 to cover costs of drinks and treats.
ALL WELCOME!!
A vehicle travels with the group, at the pace of the slowest runner and provides cold water, Coke, Powerade and some snacks every 3km. No fixed route and we travel in a different direction every week.

The next club tent will be at Bronkhorstspruit on 14 February 2015. All members are invited once again to make use of the gazebo at the races. The gazebo is there for all members to enjoy. Dirk Olivier is our dedicated “gazebo man” and have been appointed to support us at most races. Cold drinks and snacks are provided by the club. Beer/ciders will be available at no cost at races with a distance of 32km and more, otherwise beer/ciders will be sold for R10.

Attach a list of all races recorded so far between 1st Oct 2014 and 31 Jan 2015. If your race is not listed please let me know so that I can capture it. If you can also send the race result URL or the results file itself it will be most helpful.
Please note, I have just copied and pasted the data from the Internet and if your name is incorrectly spelt or there are details missing please forward the corrections to me and I will correct. I can’t fix the official published race results.
My problem is those published result entries without INITIALS, AGE or MALE/FEMALE which make it very difficult to collate the data.

A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who helped at the McCarthy Race on Saturday.
Dave and Piet for doing the water points at the worker’s race on Sunday. Word of Thanks to Magnolia McCarthy race organiser: A special word of appreciation must go to Hank Bezuidenhout, who after 32 years of being the race organiser, is still doing a great job. Just a brief overview of Hank’s road to race day on 7 February: It starts in the previous year with the booking of the race date, meetings with the sponsor McCarthy Motors, preparing the race pamphlet, designing plus ordering medals, meetings with the City Council, Metro Police, venue Safety Officer, water point sponsors and his organising committee at the club. The days before the race he coordinates race numbers, Coke, water, tables plus chairs as well as the setup of the venue. He is one of the first to arrive 03h00 on race day and last to leave the venue. All these things that we as runners take for granted, the race organiser’s put into place. Just listing these tasks is tiring not even to mention the unseen tasks done by Hank. We as club would like to express our gratitude towards Hank and Edith (Hank’s wife) who has allowed him to assist Magnolia for all these years.
